Anti-Interparcel wrote: »Hi Guys,
I have made 2 separate shipments via Interparcel and both have ended up destroyed.
I sent 2 Air compressors, both heavily packed and well protected via Interparcel, they were quick, oh yes, but look at the state of them:
This was the product I bought and that was delivered the following day, it was in perfect and fully working condition when I bought it:
Unfortunately I cannot post the photos but if you want copies, then please send me a PM.
This was the product I sold the exact same day and this is how it arrived to my client, bearing in mind that this product was brand new and in impeccable condition without a single scratch on it:
Again, not allowed to post links!
Now they say that my claim on their insurance is void as they do state that these items are on their "Prohibited Items" list, if a company accepts carriage then they are liable for the items of which they transport, the courier even helped the old guy I bought my compressor off, wrap even more!!! I mean, !!!!!!???
These guys are shameless and blatant thieves, after leaving me out of pocket for the damaged good, they still want the charges for the transport, no apologies, no nothing, just, that's your tough luck sonny!!
My recommendation:
STAY AWAY PEOPLE, THEY HAVE NO CARE OF YOUR ITEMS AND WILL DAMAGE THEM UNSCRUPULOUSLY.

I have booked a collection with interparcel to deliver to Ireland. I paid £17.99 +VAT and waited in all day on Saturday - no one came - I called interparcel on Monday who told me there was no guarantee my parcel will be collected! they arranged a collection for today and still no show. Does anyone know how I can get my money back? I am totally disgusted at the service they have provided. I am a new small business starting to get orders for my product - I have now let some of my first customers down because interparcel did not collect when they said. :mad:0

Interparcel are brokers - they aren't couriers. Its down to the courier you chose - was it a cheap, budget one or a slightly better service? Interparcel's terms and conditions are also quite restrictive as to what they will and won't do to sort out failed collections etc. Courier brolers are fine while the services work, but its difficult to get probelms sorted. Parcel2go is even worse with sorting out courier messes. I find it best just to book directly with a courier of your choice, its often cheaper, too.0

The worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.NEVER AGAIN. Total crap, misleading service which borderlines FRAUD @ DECEPTION. WARNING-WARNING-WARNING. Stay clear of this useless disorganised shower . Waited a week for next day delivery, still waiting. There are many good company's out there unlike this one. Totally JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD OFF.0

I bet most of the complainers booked the cheapest option available...........
My Hermes!
Enough said.Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -
@plumface
Just nitpicking here really, but it's one of my pet hates when people call a company by the wrong name, interparcel sell services from HERMES, whereas if you go direct you book MYHERMES
edit: sorry if that post came across as rude
edit 2: and I'd just like to place another bet that most of the problems are HDNL0 -
This can't possibly be the same inter parcel I've used for 7 years or so day in day out without issue can it?.
Ive tried several brokers and they are by far the most pro of all.
You have to remember they are just a broker and not a courier, they don't deliver the parcels they merely book the parcel.
As for them being rude, what???. Ive always found them very decent, we all have off days and if you ring them ranting off and accusing them of fraud it's no surprise.
I think there are Definately some competitors posting in here.0 -
:eek:We have had a terrible experience with this company. We took a day off to take delivery. Driver logged us as inaccessible?? We have two ways to our road one used by 50 ton+ quarry lorries. Assured he would come back by office. NO DELIVERY!!!. Next day transferred to smaller vehicle. Logged 'Ran out of time' ??? TWO days wasted. SAT delivery?? Dream on.0

This company may be a Broker but they take the money so they should resolve issues when packages take weeks to arrive at commercial 24/7 premises, or the packages just disappear.
The Interparcel Chat Line doesn't do anything except tell you what you already know. If you use the Chat Line may I suggest that you copy, paste and save the transcript of the chat before you log off.
The MD doesn't respond to detailed letters.
Their Hermes service is the cheapest but also the slowest so please leave at least 5 working days for the item to arrive.
Even their UPS service can be poor.
Conclusion if you want cheap and problems with your clients not getting the goods either on time or late then use Interparcel.
Personally I use Interparcel / UPS service and get 95% good service, you get what you pay for.0 -
gobsmaked that so many people have had so many issues with interparcel.
i conceed that when there is an issue the customer service is somewhat lacking, this i feel is due to poor communication between them and the service providers. this however, does not entitle anyone to blame interparcel themselves with issues relating to the delivery service, non delivery or even damaged goods, it is however reasonable to expect that they act on your behalf to rectify these issues
i have been using interparcel for over 4 years and almost exclusively use UPS as the shipper, only using other services where UPS cannot fulfill my requirements, i use the services described as interparcel economy both for uk and worldwide shipments, these services are UPS and although cheaper than the interparcel express seem 99% of the time to be delivered in the same time.
UPS have NEVER let me down in any way in over 500 deliveries no damaged goods and if there have been delays it has always been down to customs.
of the other services ive used, DHL DPD on maybe 20 occasions in total i have had problems with almost 50% of them usually due to non collection or very slow deliveries one booking with DPD took over a week to collect depite DPD vans driving past my window at least 2-3 times a day, this was after delays caused by bad weather (snow) and despite daily calls to DPD they insisted all parcels were collected in order,
i cannot reccomend UPS highly enough and tollerate the interparcel customer service because the prices are cheap.
BUT tried to log in to book a parcel this morning to find my account suspended, i have no idea why yet as im waiting for customer service to open at 8.30, ive just checked emails to see if they have emailed me prior to suspension but they have not.
