Hi Just felt I had to respond to your quest regarding interparcel. I have nothing but praise for them I use DHL or Interparcel.
Sunday night booked out two parcels, One for collection on Monday and one on Tuesday - at 10p.m. my partner informed me that we will not be in London so could not wait in for collection.... What can I do I have booked the parcels with another 5 to be booked out, Called a friend on Sunday night she can assist on Tuesday p.m. wow halfway there have to call Interparcel and change collection address.
Monday morning called Interparcel - explained my problem - No worries we will change collection address for Tuesday after 2p.m. and also re-scheduled my Monday collection for Tuesday p.m. Problem solved
On Monday at 7.p.m. booked another 5 parcels out - forgot to change collection address ..... Called Interparcel on Tuesday morning and explained I forgot to change collection address.... No problem all is done and 7 packages collected from my friends address yesterday and hopefully they should be with the receivers today 11/08/10
So I have nothing but praise for them, excellent, professional, friendly and helpful.
ps I once put the wrong country on the parcel (Italy when it should have been Spain) and guess what!! parcel returned to me within a week via DHL
What service!!

I've used Interparcel several times over the past 2 years. Have found them to be the best price for heavier boxes or if I want to book a same day collection at 1pm. Only ever booked UPS via Interparcel, not DHL.

After an issue a while back you'd have thought I'd have learned my lesson.... I got charged by UPS even though I'd paid through Interparcel, because I apparently didn't use the correct shipping labels (two e-mails containing different labels, only received one).
Now I've had two failed collections by 'My Hermes', waited in all day (until 9:00pm!!) both days.... Not much of an apology from Interparcel, no explanation, and no refund after first failed collection. Have now cancelled and gone via Parcel2Go.0 -
I would STRONGLY recommend never using Interparcel. They are fine if the delivery happens, but it is not uncommon for deliveries to go "missing", or the other common "problem" is when the courier does not get a signature and the parcel goes missing, but allegedly was left outside the delivery address. (In my opinion this is theft, but not according to interparcel). When this happens Interparcel have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. They will be rude to you, not respond and make you feel so frustrated. So I would strongly recommend that you do not use this interparcel.0

I use them everyday, and have not found it common for things to go missing.
Do you work for another parcel company?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I use Interparcel every time I have something to send, and never had a single problem with them. In the highly unlikely event that a parcel goes missing, it wouldn't be Interparcel to blame, they are just a booking agent and don't have any contact with your parcel, it would be the company you select, be it FedEx, DHL...whatever...that have lost the item.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

I disagree - I think if you book through Interparcel then as booking agents they are the people responsible for sorting out any problem, regardless of whether it is dhl or fedex fault etc.
Interparcel are ok when things go right but pinning them down when things go missing or are damaged is next to impossible!
They will blame everyone else and do nothing to sort things out (in my experience and from what i've read from many others). Things can and will go wrong with any company from time to time but they wont even try to help and instead tried to pass the buck each time saying 'nothing we can do'. If they are the booking agents then they get a cut of the delivery price for themselves and therefore they should be the contact when/if something goes wrong! And which ever way you look at it there is no excuse for waiting many months on refunds when something does go missing - waiting a few weeks to check the delivery was not made is fine and acceptable, but ignoring people, denying the problem and asking them to re-email the same info to them repeatedly is just poor service.
Summary - OK booking agents / crap customer service (after-sales) lets them down!
And no, I dont work for any courier company and happily used Interparcel for long enough until I spent several hours and days trying to sort out various problems that occurred over several weeks. In the end I spent so much on phone calls and emails etc that it was easier to cut my losses and pay slightly higher elsewhere for a much better service! Some People Live & Learn, Some People Just Live...0 -

Do you work for another parcel company?
No, and I find that quite insulting.
There are plenty of people on here with the same experience as me. I run a small business. I have used interparcel a lot in the past, when they work they are fine, but any problems and they are completely useless. I have now changed to a courier direct, yes slightly more expensive, but saves so much time and hassle.0 -
I pretty much always use interparcel and have never had a problem with them and would recommend them. they collect when they say they will and deliver when they say they will usually a day earlier, its also very reasonable price.0
