  • Just to add I no longer use interparcel as a result of their shocking customer service, and would strongly advise any business to go directly to the courier, you can get it cheaper, and do not have to suffer the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Today I had a very bad experience with interparcel. I wanted to return two boxes( toilet) I bought online and I decided to send it via Interparcel.
They sent it via DHL, but the web site refused to accept it because I forgot to write down the return number in the boxes.
Interparcel returned only one box(Cistern) and I was expecting the other box for more than two weeks. When I asked them today, they said it has been disposed by DHL due to health and safety reasons and I am not able to claim.
    I am really disappointed.

    Can I post a request?

    Whenever anyone is posting feedback on Interparcel;
Could you include which delivery service you used? (e.g. UPS, DHL, Hermes, HDNL)

Might give an indication as to whether some delivery services have more items getting lost/damaged/delivered late than others.

I have used Interparcel for ages with mixed results. Often OK but God help you if something goes wrong! I have just used them for the last time ever.

2 parcels were booked for delivery by TNT as they were both very heavy. 2 days late picking up (which is just by the by). The under trained or under brained courier somehow managed to stick her barcode label to the wrong parcel, even though it was clearly labelled correctly and both parcels ended up at each others addresses.

I let Interparcel know and they didn't respond (I emailed as the phone waiting time was 14 mins!!). I called the TNT depot myself and let them know the issue. Even so, they managed to utterly destroy one parcel. Costing me £245. The other parcel eventually arrived over a week later. No chance of compensation for the items as they are slate and that is a restricted material (another way to wriggle out of every eventuality) - i.e., you send at your own risk. But, I feel that they should at least refund the fee due to the mix up. At the very least they should bloody respond to the help request!

2 more emails to Interparcel and they still won't even respond.

    AVOID INTERPARCEL AT ALL COSTS!

I honestly doubt that any of the others are any better. They are all so slippery when it comes to any sort of guarantee, claim, complaint, anything. There really is a gap in the market for a courier company that gives a toss. I feel like I am held to ransom by them all.

I have transferred all my business to parceltogo.com – I doubt they are any better but I won't use Interparcel again out of principle. It's just a lottery as to when it happens to you and the frustration begins.

Avoid INTERPARCEL like the plague. I have been in the aviation business for more than 50 years and never experienced such unreliability in freighters/shippers as I have experienced with INTERPARCEL. Don't bother with them, they are only agents (and bad ones at that) go direct to the shipping companies themselves.
This is my last time to deal with these rip-off merchants.

Despite the mixed reviews here I used Interparcel recently to ship a 12Kg box via UPS. When I placed the order I didn't receive the shipping labels for the next day's collection. I emailed Interparcel the following morning (the collection was due from 1300) and the shipping labels were emailed back to me very shortly afterwards (and were then available on the order page on web site as well). UPS arrived right on the earliest time requested - very prompt and professional service. I tracked the delivery progress online (a very useful service) and the parcel arrived the following day.

Incidentally, two days later someone else I was corresponding with also (by chance) used Interparcel to organise the collection of another parcel from me - I was asked to print out the corresponding shipping label and attach it to the parcel - sure enough the same UPS courier returned to collect it, again right on the pre-arranged time. Again I was able to track the delivery of the parcel to its destination, and although it took longer because it was over a weekend, it arrived safely. No problems with Interparcel, and most impressed with UPS.

We use collectmyparcel.com, and get 5% of all European and International parcels (all sent with DHL) just by signing up. You don't have to sign up to use them though. Always very quick to reply to e-mails (like less than 10 minutes, not hours). also speedy to refund when I've had to cancel.
  • Hi Guys,

I have made 2 separate shipments via Interparcel and both have ended up destroyed.

I sent 2 Air compressors, both heavily packed and well protected via Interparcel, they were quick, oh yes, but look at the state of them:

This was the product I bought and that was delivered the following day, it was in perfect and fully working condition when I bought it:

Unfortunately I cannot post the photos but if you want copies, then please send me a PM.

This was the product I sold the exact same day and this is how it arrived to my client, bearing in mind that this product was brand new and in impeccable condition without a single scratch on it:

Again, not allowed to post links!

Now they say that my claim on their insurance is void as they do state that these items are on their "Prohibited Items" list, if a company accepts carriage then they are liable for the items of which they transport, the courier even helped the old guy I bought my compressor off, wrap even more!!! I mean, !!!!!!???

These guys are shameless and blatant thieves, after leaving me out of pocket for the damaged good, they still want the charges for the transport, no apologies, no nothing, just, that's your tough luck sonny!!

    My recommendation:

STAY AWAY PEOPLE, THEY HAVE NO CARE OF YOUR ITEMS AND WILL DAMAGE THEM UNSCRUPULOUSLY.
    Cheers
