Hi how do we go about claiming the credit card charges? Where do i send the letter to? i used to have a visa/mastercard but ripped it up a couple of years ago after paying years of charges. I dont have any old cards to get a number off. Any help would be appreciated

    Hi,
To all those who have claimed back credit card fees, did you get back all the fees or just the difference between £12 and what you were charged.
I`m claiming back £200 from Natwest Credit Card and they have offered £93 after the first letter sent, as this has only taken a week i`m considering taking it.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance
  • Hardhands, unless the bank actually tells you the real cost you claim the full amount you have been charged, even if that was £12
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Firstly You can claim Late Payment Fees, Overlimit Fees, and Out of Order charges. No interest or service fees (ie Cash Advance Fees or Balance Transfer Fees)

    Links for forums
    Barclaycard
    Virgin is MBNA
Goldfish is Morgan Stanley but no forum for them so try General Credit Cards
    LloydsTSB
    Sainsburys is HSBC (i think)

After having a success with the bank I have decided to go on with the credit card companies. I am looking for some advice and also want to know if they have forced anyone to close their card accounts. I am with capital one and barclaycard.

Also do I use the same letter templates or are they different to cc companies.
