MSE News: BT Sport: is its 'free' offer any good?

Thank you iniltous for the clarification.
My initial point was that BT's publicity says it's free for all BT customers when clearly it isn't if I have to pay another £10.
I subscribe to BT vision and it seems iniquitous that SKY viewers can get a BT service free but I wont be able to unless I move up to Infinity.......or maybe move over to SKY.0 -

They have to pay for a card too, you know (unless they already have one). And via Sky the card (on its own) is £25.0 -
Thank you Vision man - wasn't aware they had to buy a card too - doesn't alter the fact that BT's advertising is misleading (at best)0

Maybe, but they are referring to the web streaming service which is indeed free to all BT Broadband & Infinity customers.... even if it is 'YouTube' quality.0 -
Hi there - I am a bit confused......
I am currently on Unlimited BT Infinity Unlimited Option 2 with free unlimited anytime calls
This is costing me £31.10
I think I read somewhere that I cannot have this package anymore as they dont do it so I will have to change to one which has only free weekend calls if I add sports to my package and then this will be contract for 1 year?
This seems to be £26 (although I could add evening calls for £2)
Is this correct?0 -
I live in a shared house, and I am half way through my Sky contract. We use Virgin for BB. I don't want to move to BT for TV and BB but I do want BT Sport via Sky. It might be possible at the end of my current Sky contract, that another member of my household will start a new Sky account so we can take advantage of a new deal. However if I signed up to BT Sport today in my name, when we finished the Sky contract, the BT Sport contract would still be active.
1. Could I sign up monthly instead of for 12 months?
2. if I can only sign up for a year, then what will happen to my BT Sport account on a viewing card I am no longer using? I don't think it's possible to put your viewing card in another Sky box?

I have a question regarding the HD.
I will be only watching BT Sport online and I have missed out on the free HD for 12 months.
Does this still mean that I will be charged £3/month for watching it in some sort of high definition on my computer?0
