Will I really be able to get BT Sport for no extra money?

I have BT landline, BT broadband & BT Vision box (the one that can record) but not infinity.

Despite my (probably misguided) loyalty to all things BT over many years I still can't believe their publicity! I suspect they will want me to upgrade it infinity.

I can't find it written anywhere in a straightforward manner that we will be able to get the BTSport service come August without 'doing' anything.

    Can anyone please advise/confirm/explain?

    Thank you

    Hi Marg,

You actually have to contact BT to get it. And yes, its free. The number is 0800 783 0056. But don't use the voice mail system. Just leave it hanging (ie don't press any buttons after the initial one) and then you'll get straight through to a live advisor.

You won't get it for free because you don't have BT broadband, if you want it on the Sky platform I think is £12 a month for standard definition, but order before August and they give you HD, normally £15, for the SD price, for 12 months

    I knew there'd be a catch!

BT want £10 for a viewing card to watch the sport!

I was told the sport is free & the charge is for the viewing card. Not sure I'll bother when the time comes...........

You can watch it online, for free, or if you have Sky, for free, or if you have Infinity and Youview, for free, the viewing card for £10 is if you have a BT Vision box and want to watch the encrypted 'free view' channels, also for free, after getting the £10 viewing card
