I find your anti-BT posts to be misrepresentative, to say the least.
BT are like any other provider, they have their pluses and their minuses, and they have their faults too. Which are many.
But doesn't everyone?0 -
anyone klnow the minimum contract for Sky subscribers to get BT sport? and is the activation fee charged everytime the subscription is turned on? e.g. if I want it for the rugby, I would only have it for the rugby season...0

Has anyone ordered this? Apparently it's free if you are a broadband customer and also have sky tv? It all sounds too good to be true so where is the catch? Is it really FREE?0

Regardless, I've never suggested anyone else shouldn't use them.
True, Very true. And theres no catch to this deal. Its genuine. And 'free' too.
Speaking as a BT customer, If there was a 'rip off' element here, I would genuinely tell everyone about it. But there isn't.0 -

Do you not consider going from paying £10 a month now to £30 a month plus 2 x £15 Activation Fees to have ESPN HD on 2 x Sky+ boxes is a 'rip-off'? I think most people would.0 -

I think he knows perfectly well that remaining with another internet supplier is not cost effective when subscribing to BT Sport.
As I said earlier, BT aren't really attempting to encourage anyone without BT internet to subscribe in the manner you describe.
They'll certainly take the money from anyone who decides to pay for two boxes plus activation, but what they really want is to grow (and mantain) their internet subscriber base.0 -

and take more money from you in different ways, for example, BT's current annual line rental was £129, now gone up to £141. TalkTalk charge £114.
BT's Unlimited Infinity 1 package costs £23 per month + line rental. TalkTalk's equivalent, Fibre Medium costs £16.50 per month + line rental.
The difference in cost over 12 months doesn't make BT Sport 'free for 12 months' for BT internet customers looks so attractive.0
