Try not to worry once you talk to them Monday I'm sure it will be sorted.
And I hope they still paying whilst processing! Have one due Tuesday0 -

Sat here and worked my childcare out thy have assessed it as in my son is on school 52 weeks of the yr @106 pr week when it should be
38 weeks @106 per week
14 weeks @189 per week
So average over 52 weeks is 128.00
Why couldn't they work that out grrrrr0 -
If it helps anyone here is my renewal story for this year.
I called the standard number and waited 15 mins to get through. They asked just a couple of income questions and it took about 5 mins to give them all the details. I have registered as self-employed in the past financial year so I thought this would take longer.
The letter detailing the finalised entitlement took just over a week to arrive.
This is the first year I can remember that I haven't had an additional payment after renewing to cover underpayments.0 -

Because there are only underpayments now if the money is 2500 less and only covers anything less than that!0 -

They were paying 70%of £128 last year but have now said that they have over paid me by £1,200 which means they have based my son being only in part time nursery for 52 weeks which not correct.
The four week thing they told you is incorrect information.
If you pay fixed childcare costs, i.e. the same every week then they use the last 4 weeks.
You are not on fixed childcare costs - you are a variable childcare costs claimant and therefore the averaging is relevant for you.
