It would have been a month on the 22.6.13 and the lady told me last week that have 30 days to work the information, so they have done it within 2 days of that time.

The only thing is they have reduced my Childcare not sure as i thought i calcualted the payments correctly .. Have to wait for paper work...

I need help tax credits have completed my check on my childcare and to my horror they reckon that I have been over paid by £1,200.
They have based this on the fact I only pay 106.00 per week . It looks like they have not taken into account the school holidays when the childcare doubles. Has anybody else experienced this issue help is required.

How I worked my childcare out was. £106 per week term time.

Then £189.50 per week in the holidays

This averages out what I thought to 135 per week am I wrong please help s I feel as they have reduced my money by 60 quid per week until december
  • Hi

Did you provide them with proof you use the holiday club. If you sent them the invoices showing the larger holiday payments then you can appeal.

I did the same last year. 100 a week in term them 210 a week holidays.

This year I only use it in the holidays so its 50 a week averaged over 52 weeks.

I think as long as your invoices showed an average of what your saying you can appeal.good luck

God I am dreading the day my paper work comes

They had the whole years worth of what I paid and that is why I don't undertstand, it was there in black and white how do I appeal ?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Today my regular payment has gone in the bank and its £20 less than normal. My income hasn't changed and I had a one off payment of £74 last week. Still know letters received I wish I knew what was going on. I still believe I am owed in excess of £1000 from last year

Not sure exactly how to appeal but there should be some more info on the overpayment letter.

I would ring the compliance officer first though to ask them how they came about their figures.

I was always told to average the fees over 52 weeks so they can't then go back on this.
Maybe they have just made a mistake!

Call them first then there's a form you print off to appeal.

And to make you pay back by December is short space of time
