Nope. You've fallen into the same unfortunate circumstance as me with this disregard rule. :(.
I really think that is unfair, if they have over estimated me by over £2300 :(

    I've been Money Tipped!
I too earnt less in the 2012/2013 tax year and informed HMRC as soon as my hours changed, aware of the disregard u recently contacted them about this and was told when my claim was finalised the disregard would be removed and therefore of my figures originally given were correct then I would have been underplayed for that tax year. In my case the shortfall came to £30 a week which funnily enough is the amount my current award for this year was increased by. I will take HMRC to court as a test case if this is not the case u cannot penalise people for receiving less
Wages by paying them less benefit than they are entitled to for a whole year and then not work on actually for the end of year renewal

I renewed by phone (after a 30 minute wait to be answered) last Friday - 14th.
I received a one-off payment today in my bank account but no paperwork as yet. I notice people are getting 2 payments. Do you think 1 may be for this year but they haven't finalised last years yet? My husband is self-employed and we made a huge loss last year.

Does anyone know how long postal renewals are taking where there are no changes of circumstances and only the annual earnings figure to fill in
My daughters 18 and going on to complete her second year of a Level 3 qualification so would there be a hold up until the details are checked with her college?
Im hearing people who phone getting payments within 5 days yet I posted my form back on the 6th June and have heard nothing
I dont want to phone up just yet as I'm assuming there will be a postal backlog but I do know my earnings were overestimated for this year and I'm currently being underpaid
    Thanks

Are you me? :D Exactly the same circumstances, posted back the form on the same day as you ... and had a small extra payment into my bank this morning. No award notice yet though, but I expect it to turn up in the next few days x

Is anybody else in the same boat as me, renewed 8 weeks ago had a compliance letter sent info off a month ago and they still haven't done the checks. How long do they actually have. I was told time scale but its one past that now.

Yep exactly the same as me! I was expecting it to be made up at the end of the year too.

Keep me updated if you do go for judicial review!

I renewed by post on 3rd June, yesterday I received a small payment and today (being the normal day it gets paid) I got a larger payment than my usual weekly amount.

I'm presuming my letter is in the post.

    Help..

Last year we earnt £33k combined & received £81 per month towards a child care bill of £460. However I underestemated my earnings by 1.5K as I worked some overtime.

Our CTC has gone down as you'd have expected in April, but I'm concerned because our earnings are 1.5K higher last year that we'll have to pay it back?

Also, I rang & did my renewal & advised them I expect I will earn the same as our actual + 1K - will this be what they base the current claim on?

Tax credits are so confusing. I don't understand the disregard
