I am still waiting for my renewal pack to arrive.
Why when the HMRC get given details every month of how much I earn each month due to real time tax do we still need to declare what we earn?
Why do they not use this information for all people who are on PAYE. It would mean they then pay you the right amount and stop overpayments etc???0 -

Hi georgiasdragon
I had my money reduced a few months ago and when I rung they said I hadn't responded to the compliance team in realtion to my sons education, they had apparently sent me a letter which I never recvd. It might be worth you just ringing 2 morrow and saying that you think it's lost as time is getting on. I sent mine bck3 weeks ago and still nothing0 -
Thanks I will do, don't want my money to suddenly stop!
Thanks0 -

It's bonkers isn't it? However, I suspect that process would just introduce more room for errors  apparently if universal credit ever arrives, we will have online accounts and be able to submit income changes etc throughout the year.
Still waiting for mine. Income up a little but within disregard so I suspect last yr will be fine, but they will go down this year - my childcare costs drop significantly in September.
Hoping mines delayed as I already had compliance check this year, so they are leaving me till last. It does say they will all be out by 28th June on their website.Bossymoo
