    I called compliance this morning.

My letter is being sent tonight along with thousands of others.

so its took 6 weeks from renewal to send the letter, then i guess another 4 weeks till its finalised!

I already know there is going to be an overpayment so just waiting to hear how much.

So anyone still not heard from renewal she said there are thousands of compliance been sent second class tonights post!

We've finally!!! had our final award notice for 13/14, but as of yet not got the lump sum we are owed (god that sounds awful, but this whole needing tax credits thing is hopefully temporary, the 'credit crunch' pulled my hubbys lovely well-paid city job out from under him 3 years ago and we've struggled since then) anyway yes, we should be owed a couple of grand but it's not turned up, anyone else had their lump sums paid?
There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.
  • Well my renewal has been processed but no payment schedule yet, bit of a pain as only payment showing in this coming Monday, could do with knowing as if its not done by next week I prob won't get paid, grr

Hi, I done my renewal over the telephone last saturday 1st June and was told not to ring back before 6 weeks. we have no childcare and i overetimated our income by £1200. Are all cases being referred to compliance this year or is just random checks?

    many thanks:)
  • I was told random checks on childcare for people who had childcare over the last 12 months.
It also appears to be people that had their renewal packs in April.

Mine came through the door the 19th April.

I was expecting a lump sum, but i was told due to the £2,500 disregard rule I wouldn't get anything.

How much difference was your April 2012 declared figure to your April 2013?

Thanks Georgiasdragons, as we have no child care hoping we may get our's back quicker. I did recieve my pack much later this year I normally recieve it in early may, but s lot of people on here seem to having that problem as well. Not one of the easiest things to work out is the tax credits system !!!!
