I was expecting a lump sum, but i was told due to the £2,500 disregard rule I wouldn't get anything.

How much difference was your April 2012 declared figure to your April 2013?

I'm not sure of the exact amount as hubby does the paperwork stuff but we earnt about 10 grand less over the past year than we did the year before that...
There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.

Well after renewing yesterday, I phoned again to find something out today, to be told my renewal has been finalised, even told me what my payments are and when my under payment will be in the bank, RESULT!! :)

I am tired of checking the post everyday and still no envelope. Does anybody know how the packs are sent out or is it just random? I have never had to wait this long. Beginning to think it may be lost.

With reference Childcare, if your Childcare element is '00.00', you get nothing, right?? So, when you stops using Childcare do you have to advise Tax credits??
I'm a bit worried, as I stopped using Childcare when my hubby lost a lot of work, in December and I have only told them this morning when I was renewing, I'm worried I'm in trouble, or maybe I was getting Childcare elsewhere??

Also, our household income is £6000 less will we receive an underpayment??

    Confused...

Not necessarily. If the childcare element shows as zero, then you are not getting paid any of the childcare element but you might be getting more child elements of Child Tax Credit because of the childcare costs included in the calculation.

If the award notices shows your weekly childcare costs, then you must tell them if these change.

The problem is they are not cope as it is taking so long now im gonna give it another week then i ll be back on the phone

Please can you help me? I've tried phoning 03000526540 (the compliance number I was given) for weeks now to find out if they have received my childcare information but it is constantly engaged whatever time of the day or night I try.

Which number are you all phoning to get all of this information?

Any help or advice will save me from more sleepless nights!
