I don't know how you guys are getting all these good deals.
I'm currently on Option 2 @ £22.99pm with £10.50 line rental and I called up and was offered Option 2 @ £17.99pm on an 18months contract. No upgrade to Option 3, no free hub, phone or Vision.
I had to pay £9 last month as I went over my 4GB limit. I use the net ALOT. Gaming upto 5 hours min per week, downloading can get upto 30GB on a bad month - usually 4- 10GB, yet BT don't seem too happy in giving me what everyone else is getting!!0 -
Hey everyone
Thought i would pick up from this offer a lot of us took on thanks to Drunkstar. Mine didnt go too smoothly, the phone turned up two weeks late. I cannot have BT Vision as I was told the HUB needs to be next to the TV which isnt practical for where i have phone points etc, so no vision not that i really wanted that.
The main thing is i checked out my last bill and I just noticed i have been charged 24.99 a month for the service even though i got the discount for option 3 over the phone. I advise the rest of you to double check your bills too, mine has a new order through for my broadband, and phone line for some reason? But no big discount as expected, so that'll be tomorrow on the phone trying to get the right person to fix it again and having to wait till the next bill to get the refunds back.
Thanks again Drunkstar for pointing out the offer, shame BT fails to live up to their primises for the...hmm...i've lost count how many times they have messed up the billing now, last one was for ~£150 charges for nothing which i eventually got back.0 -
Hi what on earth is BT vision? Is there any reduction on option 1 please and what is the difference between option 1 2 and 3 monetary and in other terms please? I sure do like having all you experts on board. Couldn't ask for better and thanks so much drun for taking the time to answer all of this. taffy0

Drunkstar, can you help me, please? My bt option 1 is due to expire. Currently I am paying £13.99 for my broadband on special offer. I am thinking of going with sky for free internet access or pay £5 a month for the midr-ange, but I have heard negative feedbacks and I am a bit put off. I do not mind staying with BT option 1 with broadband but I am not happy to pay £17.99 a month. I am a low user. Are there any deals going on currently, not interested in wireless or total bt broadband or bt vision? Thanks0

When it goes to full price (£17.99) just ring up and threaten to cancel unless you get it cheaper. They should be able to get it do it for £12.99 by first puting on the newer version of option 1 plus a £2 discount. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20
