Wouldn't mind option 2 with a home hub phone.

    Is this possible?

Yes if you pay for it. (BT Hub Phone £49.99 with Options 1 and 2).

  • Thanks Drunkstar. I followed your advice and within 5 minute had got £5 a month off insted of the £2 that I recieved through the post. I also now only have a new contract for 12 months instead of 18 and another new wireless router and phone. Oh, and they,ve thrown in BT vision as well. Not bad for a 2 minute call.

I am on option 1 BB. I used to opay £17.99 for my broadband but I got a deal for £14 a month and a new contract. Please, Drunkstar, can you help me to get a better deal, I think I will have to wait when the contract runs out. I could get BB free with sky but have read negative feedbacks from them. BT is no longer compettive but I have been with them a long time and decide to remain there. Thanks

Ive just been explaining to the mother in law the benefits of trying to cancel sky so that she can be offered Free sky plus! During the conversation she advised me she was looking at sky Broadband as she was paying £35 a month for Bt broadband.
When I picked myself up off the floor I asked what package was she on. She did not know. This annoys me as they have been with BT since Broadband started and they are obviously taking advantage of a package that probably ran out years ago!! any advice I can pass on or should she just phone customer services. She only uses the internet for e-mail and booking hotels etc, not downloading / gaming!

    Wowser!

Get her onto the option 1 package. She doesnt need any more than that at all.
Hell, dial up may be cheaper for her.
