Restart your router, remove wifi configuration from the phone and try again. It could be misspelled password or something like that.

If it doesn't see it, this has nothing to do with passwords.

How do I return an item if I’ve changed my mind?
How do I return a faulty product?

You can contact BB directly, but you don't have to. Vodafone are just fobbing you off. It's their duty as a supplier to repair or replace the phone if it's faulty: Consumer Rights Armour

Sorry for asking the obvious, but are you sure that WiFi is switched on in your handset?

BTW, your keyboard needs upgrading too. 'Shift' and 'Space' keys are playing up.

Is it something you will have to take up with the IT person at work? In the past at least routers could be set to 'invisible'

    Yep, right, my bad.

Other possibilities, based on "everybody can see it"
    - hidden SSID (you need to enter network name manually)
    - disabled Wifi in phone
    - faulty wifi in phone.

Test on another phone. But first restart your router, if it's possible.

Make sure it's on a suitable channel as well.

Hi,thank-you for all the replies,I have just had a very frustrating conversation with Vodafone, via India, basically I have been told that as my z10 connects to my router at home, there is nothing wrong with the phone, despite the fact that 50 other people with devices ranging from laptops, tablets, different makes of mobile phones, can ALL see the router at work and connect with NO problems. So,they are saying no fault with the phone,so therefore i can't return it.Is this correct? I have had the phone for 3 weeks,so 7 days are up.I have tried to enter the details manually,I have entered the SSID, but there is no password box for me to enter the password,so i am stuck.

You don't, you change the channel on the router.
