"it has to be done on the router"? - do you call this a valid advice? I am sure that where I work IT would laugh if I ask them to do this just because my rubbish phone is incompatible with ch.13.

"contact an aerial company" if some faulty TV (or NTSC TV produced by a company with headquarters in America) cannot get ch.2 while other TVs can get it when connected to the same aerial? LOL.

It's clear his phone is incompatible with channel 13. If it can connect to some wifi routers then it's not his phone at fault.

I am very surprised at op being "the only one" that is having the problem as googling "channel 13 problems" brings up a host of hits with various smart phones, tablets, kindles and laptops.

Hi Lee,I updated the z10's software on Wednesday,only back to work today,pleased to say that the phone now connects to my work wi-fi!!!

As I always knew,it was a problem with the phone,now resolved,thanks for your help,and all those that gave constructive advice.

Glad your problem is solved. Obviously there was a software problem that caused an incompatibility between your firm's router and your Blackberry.

I hope the phone's features that prompted you to choose it give you what you expected.

I always liked the phone,but the fact I could not use wi-fi at work caused me issues,other than that it is perfect,in fact better than the iphone 4 I had before,plus the BBM service,just a shame it was sent out with various issues which the recent update to OS 10.1 has fixed.The phone is really nice.;)
