    No,luckily for them,no-one has a z10....

If others with a Z10 have an issue it may be the phone firmware, if if just your Z10 then it's likely to be an issue in your handset
For the OP it makes absolutely no difference whether it's a generic Z10 fault or unique for his Z10. His Z10 has an obvious fault and either Voda or RIM have to sort this out.

    1. Is it only the router at your place of work that it can's see/connect to?
    2. Are there any other routers that it doesn't find at friends or relatives etc?
    3. Have you taken it in to one of the network shops and see if it connects there?

The point is if it is ONLY the router at your work, then there may be some issues with its settings that the I T team might be able to sort out.

If it is only your router at work, then that does not constitute a fault with the phone, only an incompatibility. Get the make/settings etc from your I T guys and post them on the forum (obviously not the access code!)

The OP's said no-one from work has an issue, then said every other device that comes in, maybe a visiting rep or salesman had a Z10.

I understand that, but if its a issue with frequencies the handset can see ( I assume the OP has also checked its listening to 2.4 rather than 5GHz) and the Wifi is NOT seen on other Z10's getting a replacement from Vodafone won't help, a replacement won't be any better.

It's about narrowing down where the issue lies to in that particular handset or the handsets firmware as a overall unit.

Not 100% sure, Looking at the manual go to Settings / Network then maybe WiFi

Your looking for something that says band type but the manual is basic to say the least and doesn't say what the settings are, you need to ensure its set to UK and either 2.4 or dual 2.4 / 5gHz mode

The manual also says you may need to install a root certificate to the phone to use some networks (http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/47561/mes1334606979307.jsp) you may need to check this with your IT department.

    Hi davmail,

Thanks for your time on the phone yesterday.

While I look into this further could you give djchester's suggestion a ago and update the thread accordingly?

Hi,that does not help I am afraid, have tried all that already,I need to find out where in the settings on this dam phone I can change the channel it looks for,I have tried entering all the details of the wi fi at work manually, and it still will not 'see' the network. Thanks again.
But back to square one,I just wish I could change the phone to a different make, then all would be ok,it is this z10.........:( Perhaps Vodafone could call blackberry support and find out???As I am not going to pay $49:00,no way.

How many times do you need to be told? The channel is nothing to do with the phone. It's set on the router/access point.

The advices the OP received so far were contradictory, not to say confusing. One of them was to check whether the phone is set correctly for searching the correct channels. Hence
