Sorry,I totally disagree,if at least one person had the same problem, then that is different, but,my z10 is the ONLY device that will not 'see' or 'connect',so is the phone, not the router.

I was going to suggest having as look on a blackberry forum, but it seems you already have, there was a temporary resolve which required a handset reset, I would imagine you are going to have to wait for a software update release, many newly released handsets have teething problems, this one is a litle more drastic than others :o

The kind people at Blackberry will only help if I pay them $49:00,which I will NOT do for a fault on their phone,Vodafone could have paid for the call, but did not,I am very dissapointed with both Blackberry and Vodafone for their lack of support. When it searches for networks, it 'sees' other wi fi that other devices do not see.Wierd.

Have you contacted vodaphone using the link and help provided by the rep who posted on this thread, it could be going down this route will get you a replacement.

I only mention it as you have not said whether you have.

I do like the look of the Z10 and did consider one, the Xperia Z won for me at the end of the day, but that too is not without teething problems, only minor in that the estimated battery time under estimates. There has already been an update for the Z, but as I have never owned a BB, I'm not sure how swift they are with updates.
I would hope they are sooner rather than later as I'm sure I read this is a make or break product for them.

Yes, I did,I received an e-mail with notes from a blackberry website with ideas as to how to fix it,none of them worked, and I had tried most of them,so back to square one,a phone that will not 'see' networks, and 'sees' other networks other devices do not!!!!

    Hi.

I had a problem with my Nokia Lumia finding my wifi. Although it could find the whole street it could not find mine. Being on Virgin, i went into my router settings and tried different channels.

My phone now picks up wifi automatically.

If you wish to test what settings you have at home on your wifi, look on your router/wifi box at home and type in your routers web adresse (well that's how i got into my router to change the settings)

Contact your internet supplier or go to there page for a guide to go to your wifi settings. Or you can tell us who you are with and maybe help you.

You really don't seem to understand what's happening here. Or (more likely) you're just burying your head in the sand.

You've already said that yours is the only BB Z10, so it stands to reason that yours is the only phone with the incompatibility.

Has anyone else with a Z10 been there? its not clear from your posts. If others with a Z10 have an issue it may be the phone firmware, if if just your Z10 then it's likely to be an issue in your handset
