I wonder if anyone caould please point me in the right direction to apps unlock the lobster?

I'm running tomtom already without unlocking it - does this mean mine is already unlocked or just partially?

What are the main benefits of unlocking and is it a painless experience.

you could try here

certain software will work without you app unlocking the phone. Many of the smaller apps won't as the authors will not have went through the certification process because of the costs involved

Just about managing to run Tom Tom on my lobby, with a Hulux receiver. For some reason it doesn't always find the satelites (or speak to phone - not sure which)

I'd like to add speed camera details and other POIs. Please does anyone know how I do this, which version of info I need and where abouts on my micro sd card I put them. I was hoping that in the root it would have a folder called POIs but no such luck!!!!!!!!

Has anyone managed to get the internet settings working with a 02 contract sim?

I really seem to be struggling, Ive tried resetting all the settings as per mocado forum but to no avail.

Anyone got any tips???

There is a good speed camera database at www.pocketgpsworld.com it costs about £18 for the year. There is also a good mod for the voice files so that the speed camera warnings are spoken together with the appropriate speed limit.

If you have tried all the settings without any luck are you sure that your Sim is GPRS enabled?

I've found that I have quickly got bored of the 'celebrity voices' so decided to have one that I couldn't possibly get bored with; my six year old daughter.

I followed the instructions here.

One voice that has survived my extensive usage is the silent voice, which gives Tomtom warnings of speed cameras and other POIs whilst not being told how to do a route I know.

Hi, Have one of these phones now and was just wondering if there is any way of making the message alert tones much louder? I have put mp3s on there for message tones but they go on forever.

Also are there any free platform games that work? I put one on from a website and it wont work, I understand i may need an unlock but i want a simple life!

oh and i didnt realise that I would get charged £3.50 for just typing in ebay in the IE.I didnt even get the full page loaded before i turned it off, and How do I close IE do I just go back with the back button untill the online marker is not showing at the top?

Are there any good easy to use cases for these online and i dont want to damage the big screen as i am having to put it in my bag rather than my pocket, my jeans just fall down! :rotfl: many thanks
