Hi Folks,
I am on the srounge I'm afraid
I had a seimens AX72 on Virgin from Tesco's which died rather quickly
So I got a lobster from this great site and moved the AX72 sim into the Lobby (no probs so far....)
Went back to Mr T's with the AX72, "we need a sim in it" (any sim) said the C/S lady.
So went back the next day with a O2 sim in it...
different C/S lady.....
"Thats a O2 sim, it needs to be a virgin as we have to send it back to them"
So, does anyone that unlocked their Lobby have a virgin sim they dont need ??
Doesnt matter if it works or not as it just for returning the faulty one ??
many thanks

Sorry if already asked, but didn`t see it and the Virgin shop in Ipswich couldn`t help. I bought my Lobster on May 10 and got the first 100 mins. ON June 10, I got a text saying that 100 mins had been added (making the 200 mins) and the next `bundle` would be added on July 10. Does this mean that they will bung on more mins and start charging me or is this just a standard text message?.0

Suprised at the lack of comments on here.
Would have thought that with the initial surge of interest that a lot of people would be wanting to explore thier TellyPhone a bit more."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
Anyone still looking for a protective case for their Lobster, I got a "slip case" for a Game Boy Micro from the Game Store (on many High Streets - see www.game.net) which fits quite well and also has a pocket in which you can store the headphones. Good if, like me, you use your Lobby for its TV, radio, satnav and other Window Mobile capabilities rather than as your main phone. And the best bit...in the clearance bin at only 48p!! :j0

TV licence suddenly expired!!
Bought my lobby 18th May and when I tried to switch on the tv today I had to renew the licence at a cost of £5. Rang CS to complain as I thought the first 90 days were free. Op said 'not if you are PAYG', so I asked to speak to Supervisor. Told he is 'busy' and will call back - still waiting 15 mins later. Anyone know the definitive line on this??0 -
Update: Waited half an hour then called CS again. Diff op says that I am *right* about the free 90 days, that I was 'given wrong info' -
so am waiting for Supervisor to call me back and will get the £5 refunded. Thought this might be of help if it happens to others....

Manager v pleasant and apologetic - it will apparently prompt for new licence after first 30 days but no charge will be taken (she says!). I can't believe I am the first person who has called up about this! Now I am on a mission to get them to stock replacement headsets under the terms of warranty as no=one wants to have to return the entire phone simply cos they have stepped on their earphones!!0
