I dont know why but after having my Lobby for exactly one month the tv stopped working and gave a message saying I needed to subscribe. As I use the tv a lot I rang Virgin who did help solve the problem but it took a good hour or so on the phone and in the end the only thing to resolve the problem was to reset the phone back to factory settings which meant I completely lost everything. Has anyone else had this problem? I am hoping that after my second free month of tv I do not have to go through all this again.

I finally got a response from Virgin mobile who told me more or less the same but with less clarity :-)

Guess I'll return the phone since I don't intend spending £5 a month when half the programmes broadcast on normal tv don't make it to DAB-TV (and the reception where I live is pants!).

I'll phone three later on and see what their retentions dept can offer (perhaps mention of the £10 virgin offer will encourage them to offer me a good instead!).

Could someone please tell me how to get voicemail to work, have done the Virgin setup, got voicemail number, pressed 1 & the message "no new messages" comes up, but when someone phones and I don't answer it doesn't switch to voicemail.

Also I copied a mp3 track to my docs to use as ringtone, when phone rings the mp3 keeps playing and I have a job switching it off, Windows Media doesn't help, have to go to setting, sounds etc

Many thanks in advance, perhaps when I can get the basics to work I will venture into the world of sat nav.

Re answer phone - you could check your call forwarding settings

Settings - Phone - Call Forwarding

Just tried full length mp3 files saved on the phone and storage card and they worked as they are meant to.

Have you tried a different mp3 file?

Sorry to be a nuisance, but presumably I then enter the voicemail number (44072 then my number less the 0) for "no reply, busy and unavailable".

mine is +44074 then my number minus the first 0 and its filled in for no reply, busy and unavailable

I have downloaded this homescreen but can't work out how to set tabs.

I downloaded file to my pc, then copied to "Device/Application Data/home".

Have managed to change to this screen from "settings" but that's it - What have I done wrong??

I am not sure if you can change the tabs. do you have facade installed?

No, don't have facade.

Also my screen does not look exactly like that on link- i.e.

no tab headings at all,
SMS/MMS/E-mail bar is at top not bottom
Centre of screen is just blank, no schedule.

Do you think I've not installed properly or is the screen shown on your link just a demo?

The homescreen is based on the facade plugin, you will need to track that down and install it first
