Have been looking at this thread and am sure this question has been asked before but must have missed it.

When installing tomtom5.2 must you do an application unlock first?

was doing application unlock simple? I have looked at the website mentioned which gives info on how to unlock the phone but am afraid i might make a mess of it.

is it simple to install tomtom5.2?

I seen Tomtom running and they did not do a app unlock. Load it all onto the memory card , and run it , it will fail , restart phone and put a small file ( picture , text ,anything ) into the tomtom folder on the main phone memory. Should now run

Storage on the Micro SD
Having just fitted 2Gig of memory on my Lobster I am having problems 'seeing' how much space there is - have been through all the various menus and properties - the phone detects the card but won't tell me about the amount of space left - anyone know how to access it?
Any news on a suitable case for the Lobster (should it be called a pot?

matter of interest what does it say regarding the memory size of your SD card. Mine says 1.89 Gb

Mine says 1.87 - 2 gig is only the nominal size of the card, it's normal for it to seem to be less, I'm afraid.

I am worried about losing/damaging my headphones. Virgin say they don't supply spares. What do we do if they break?

Question about the Lobster TV phone for those that upgraded to pay monthly.

If I take the £10 a month deal from Virgin (reduced to 100mins/100txts) does this qualify for free TV (as a pay monthly contract)?

I am hoping that I can cancel my existing contract shortly and use the 200 free mins that came with the lobster, switching to a pay monthly deal when these have gone (keeping the same mobile number and getting free TV).

Anyone know if this is possible?

They told me "no". It's not a contract just a 'rolling top-up', IYSWIM.

if you can afford to run W Live over Virgin GPRS for most but major celebs it a no NO ! and if you can what are you doing on MSE ?


Also massive thanks to Quentin for selling me @ cost price a nice new Lobster since its surplus to requirements, I'm sure you'll all applaud his MSE spirit rather than ebaying it ! :T
