Got my lobby today but noticed it getting hot, just thought it was the chargeing process but found it to be the micro card. I am now unable to use it in other things now as it is not recognised. Virgin say it is the memory card as the phone still works! Anyone have any similar problems I don't think its the Sandisk 1Gb it was working before no probs?

I had this problem with a new micro SD card that killed my SIM card as well. Had to replace both, replacement SD card works fine.

Thanks, but i had gprs on my last phone, with no probs so can't be that. Still trying and not really getting far, I don't want to delete all the virgin settings as I need these to update the tv lic.

It's only a month til my contract is up with o2, think I will just wait and port over to virgin. (then it will work!!!)

With regards to installing TomTom, could someone confirm that I need TomTom MOBILE for Smart Phones version 5.2 and Not TomTom NAVIGATOR which I assume is for PDAs with touch screen functionality?

Has anyone tried to put a 3g sim into the lobster?

I had my lobster 700 sim unlocked and put my three sim in it. however it said invalid sim....

Finally got round to it.

If anyone is interested I have just replaced the two earpieces with phono plugs and the result is outstanding.

I now use the Lobby as a personal jukebox as well as recieving excellent qualuity DAB radio on my ageing stereo system.
