Thanks! I've just spent a very enjoyable 2.5 hours in the shops. I bought my favourite MAC lipstick, 6 bras (really needed them since the weight loss lol) in the Blue Cross sale, a lilac cardigan in Primark, and 2 makeup brushes! So I've treated myself very well
Best of all, I had a Debenhams gift card so the lipstick and bras were free!
No, actually, best of all, I'm going home to a peaceful house and it's all mine.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Also, I got measured (because you get an extra £5 off if you do - ha ha, this is MSE after all) and I was told that I'm now a 32E!! I thought that I was a 34C! I laughed when the girl brought in the 32E bras for me to try, but they fit me!Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Evening
Sounds like you've had a lovely evening, even better to come home and chill at your leisure. Has ex been to collect his stuff?
Kind regards

It was! It's been a while since I bought anything for myself. And apart from the bras, they were all complete non-essentials, so that was nice.Evening

Just walked in the door about 5 minutes ago. His stuff is gone, apart from about 2 dozen books and a couple of other bits. I'll give them to the charity shop, I can't bring myself to throw anything half usable in the bin.
His wardrobe and drawers are empty. The TV is gone, it was his, but I'll buy a new one.
I have a few things to do tonight, but when I come back from my mum's on Sunday, I'll set about making the house a bit different - and mine. That'll keep me busy for a while.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Oh the peace and quiet you must have and sanity you can now start rebuilding your confidence!0 -
Whats the phrase, dont look back. I was 36 when I left my last ex and apart from the odd blip here and there Ive been mostly single since. But Im happy.
I spent so long thinking, why didnt I leave sooner. But I didnt. So the thing is, be glad you are doing ok, you have a lot to be thankful for.

I don't mind that he took it, it was expensive and only about a year old. I'll get one of my own. He left the old TV in the bedroom (which was also his) but I hate TV in the bedroom so I'll be getting rid of it.
And yes, the peace and quiet is marvellous.Whats the phrase, dont look back. I was 36 when I left my last ex and apart from the odd blip here and there Ive been mostly single since. But Im happy.
