The worst she can do is have a bit of a go about you not telling her earlier, but I'm sure she'll understand the reasons why. After all she raised you to be kind and considerate of others, so how can she really complain when you demonstrate that she's done such a good job :) .

Hope all went well, Tay x This will have been the worst thing you have to do, after this telling anyone else will get easier and easier. And your mum will only want the very very best for you. My mum genuinely didn't have a clue when I told her. She said she knew we didn't really do things together any more, but she hadn't realised it was that bad. But since then she's been an absolute star. She's never been nosy, always waits for me to talk to her, and has supported me every step of the way while stll being friendly with my ex when she sees him. ( She even still bought him an Easter Egg!!)

Take your time off work, you need it. I was fortunate that it was the Easter holidays straight after we split up so I had 2 weeks to get used to my new life before I was back at work x
