I do feel so much better for telling her. She took it better than I could have hoped for. I thought that she might have been upset that I had a 'failed marriage', but no, she said that my happiness was the most important thing and that I was right to get out when I did and not hang around any longer.

I think that she's upset that I went through it all on my own, but I said that it was my choice to keep it quiet and that she shouldn't feel bad about it.

We're just having a lazy day, taking it easy. We'll be seeing one of her friends later this evening so we'll tell her then. I'm looking forward to telling everyone, the sooner the better tbh.

The burden has indeed been lifted. I wish that I'd been able to tell my mum sooner, but I am positive that I did the right thing and she agrees.

She even asked if I'd consulted a solicitor yet! And she was impressed that I had

By the way, I still have this horrid rash, it's so irritating and I'm fighting the urge to scratch Really hope that it goes away soon.

hopefully the rash will start to clear up now as you wont feel so stressed now you have told your mum, but if not then might be worth going back to docs get avdifferent antihismine xx

i am surprise tay that your ex hasnt been in touch very strange has he not even tried to text or anything has he just done a bunk (strange he never got in touch either about the car) as he knew you wanted it for the wedding. Good thing he has left you alone though buy very strange.

I doubt that he will be in touch - hardly surprising since he took the car. He knows that he shouldn't have done that. But I'm very glad that he hasn't. I don't want to hear from him at all xx

It might be that he can't believe what you've done and is expecting you to go running back to him. When you don't, he may start contacting you.

Ugh, I really hope not. I don't care whether he believes it or not, he'll just have to get used to it lol. I told him in no uncertain terms that it was 100% over. Perhaps he *is* arrogant enough to think that I will change my mind, but he's in for a nasty shock. :rotfl:
