    It your mum is anything like you come across, don't worry. She will know exactly what to do and what you need. She may have guessed, she may have no idea, but she will be relieved you are happy and will be incredibly proud of you.

    Good luck, and take big box tissues, wine/teabags, chocolate and comfy shoes...lots of eating, drinking wine/tea and walking it off!!

    Thanks mcja - that's very kind of you. :A I leave in about an hour, and will be on tenterhooks the whole way home.

    I've packed a bottle of prosecco lol! If she really didn't like him, I'm hoping that we'll be celebrating! :rotfl:

    Proud nanny to two beautiful boys :j
    And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

    UPDATE,
    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    I expect your Mum has noticed the subtle changes in you over the Wedding period. I'd be very surprised if she is caught completely unawares.
