Have fun, just remember how small the hire car is.0

I went to ikea last week for some inexpensive curtains, but hated them when I saw them, instead preferring so e three times the price that were discontinued, although they said they were out of stock rolling around on the floor checking the very backs of the bottom shelves yielded five pairs of them. That and a few jars of fake caviar and I was happy that I won't be going back for years and years!
Last nights converstion meant curiosity got the better of me and this morning i googled my nasty ex, only to find out he is now working in my region (we didn't live here). I mentioned this to dh who asked if I was worried and I admitted while I am not 'worried' I really wouldn't want our social circles to collide or to see him again.0 -
I'm back
I also went to the nearest big MrS to stock up on my favourite Merchant Gourmet puy lentils, yum

I didn't get that much! A new dish drainer, toilet brush, lightbulbs, extension leads, tea towels, spatulas, chopping boards. Very exciting lol.:rotfl:
Also, a couple of pretty glasses and mugs and a peace lily. Oh and champagne flutes as I have none! I have some champagne and prosecco in the house, and want to toast my new life with friends sometime soonlostinrates wrote: »I went to ikea last week for some inexpensive curtains, but hated them when I saw them, instead preferring so e three times the price that were discontinued, although they said they were out of stock rolling around on the floor checking the very backs of the bottom shelves yielded five pairs of them. LOL. Well done you for finding them!
Where had your ex been living/working before? I can understand that you don't want to encounter him, but would it be likely? Is it a densely populated area? xxLife is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Sounds like you got good stuff. I forgot I also got two flamingo glasses for our bedside table water glasses (dh loves flamingos:rotfl:)
As for how likely it is...well, we haven't yet.. It's a small world, crazily he is working in the industry he had no interest in and that I still dabble in...but i think its highly unlikely we would run into each other. Whether the social circles might cross in a small world is something different though. I don't think so, and forewarned is forearmed. If it happens I know have had time to wit gather to say something like 'oh yes, we used to be close but are not in touch now, life goes on, I wish him well' rather than 'what the hell? Where!?'
