  • Evening all - well today has been full of paint!! DD went to a pot painting birthday party - she was so determined to do a good job she ended up borrowing the paint to bring home so she could finish! DS painted his canvas rocket picture which was part of his Easter egg. DH is now watching the newish alien film with a friend in the front room and I am painting the dining room - the job was only started last.....august!!:rotfl:

So yes paint - but my first SFD. Also been clearing the decks - kids have a double playdate tomorrow afternoon - first time this has been tried - I must be nuts!! If I survive Ill report back tomorrow night!

    Love to all,

    LAGL xx

Siosxie are stamps really 50p???? Gosh, that's expensive! Mine all going 2nd class then!

I have had aspendy day as predicted to prepare for holiday and dd2 needed new shoes- again expensive! Forgot to pick up dd1 some new knickers and reluctant to break a sfd for them, but even though I can make them and have all the stuff I have a feeling she won't appreciate that so I know between now and Saturday will have to shop again - intending to keep a list and wait until really can wait any longer. So cross with self as had been really pleased with list of shops and things needed. Ex also gave me cash towards bits and I remembered to pay council tax and cc!

Oh well what is done is done. Onwards and upward all you lovely people! Newbies all seem well up for it which as this is my second month should keep me going!

    Good Evening all..

I am not liking my late nights recently. Never seems to be enough hours in the day! SO I am packed, ready to go. A little worried about how heavy my bag is but I guess I'll have to cross my fingers! Although I guess I could take out a pair of shoes..?

Welcome to all those checking in today.. those signed in for the day and well done to the many SFD's that are being wracked up. Your making Mama Puss so proud!

I shan't be around for the following 7 days. It will be VERY hard not to find an internet cafe and check in ( okay I might do this once ) but otherwise I can only wish you all the best of luck.. remember if you don't need it, don't buy it. Watch those foody spends as they are the ones that catch us all out..

I am hoping to come back with some pennies.. but have over budgeted just in case.

Friday is my 30th Birthday.. I will be in Venice. Following long tedious weekends spent doing Ovetime I can relax a little... but not for too long...

I will be back... desperate to get more pennies together to pay off my bike loan next!!!

    Onwards and Upwards!!!:T:T:T

  • Have a great time away Kat!Today I will aim for a spend free day - there is no reason for me to buy anything - so I won't!! (Feeling all assertive & under control!)

  • Morning everyone

I am going for my second spend free day today, will be home with the kiddies, so should be easy:D I have just noticed this morning that I need three birthday cards in the next week and I haven't brought any.

I might see if I can get organised and make a few papercrafted ones from stash, so that I don't have to spend on them.

Morning all - and have a great time away Kat.

Yesterday was my first SFD and today should be number 2. I was like a whirling dirvish yesterady and threw 50 items away - why did I keep that stash of jam jars (recycled)? or that piece of tape that was too small to do anything with? My aim today is more of the same, throwing (ebaying if possible of course), gardening, some housework and possibly some schoolwork. Its a lovely, if cold, day here so a walk this afternoon is in order. Hope that everyone has a good day xx

I am a little late but not broken any rules and totally on board so can my name be popped down please?

SFD #3 today :) I am off work and uni at the moment which makes this much easier, enjoying staying in and catching up on TV programmes/movies whilst getting the house back into order = free entertainment. Just need to plan a couple of good days out with my fiance for when he is off too, already thinking of picnics to keep the spend down/make it free.
