is there any way to unlock the n70 without a full pin dku-5 that doesnt cost money? I have a 6 pin but trying to buy a 10 pin version at the moment.

can anybody point me how to debrand my 6680 i have unlocked it with dku5 cable just want to debrand now as its on 3 and no other sim will get a signal until debranded any help appreciated thanks

bb5 fones arent just the listed my two nokias 7373 and 7390 are bb5s too

Hi. I have been searching the internet all day about unlocking a Brand New Nokia N73 on TMobile using the DKU 5 cable, but seem to be going round in circles.

I have Dejan's software and a DKU 5 cable with 13 pins bought off ebay. It installs with prolific drivers. But when i try to read the phone it comes up with bad connection!....

I have set different com ports in device manager and changed the config file to match the com port but with same problem.

Can the N73 be unlocked using a cable and Dejan software?
Am i using the wrong DKU 5 cable?

I also have a ca-42 cable (not original Nokia) which installs with a com port but only has 6 pins.

Please help.

cheapest price offline to unlock a BB5 mobile (eg a Nokia 6280) is 15 pounds. is that about right?

What is the meaning of offline? using unlocking code?

I think it depends on which network it is locked on.

UK 3 is the cheapest using unlocking code.

Not sure if this is the right thread but looking to unlock a Nokia 6110 Navigator - I thought it can't be done but someone has mentioned to me that it can.

I've been through most of the links to ebay items for cables (DKU-5, etc )that are known to work, but all the auctions are invalid. Also doing a search for the name of the item doesn't really throw up anything definite.

I have tried contacting some of the ebay sellers - and no reply (somewhat expected that...)

Does anyone have some active links to low priced cables that are know to work ? (Ebay, amazon or elsewhere ?). I've seen prices as low as £3 on ebay.

It is good to see the offer above, which could be an option. In my case I would also like to use the cable for other purposes and on other phones. There is a local phone shop and the uy there says he has a cable, which is the same as he uses for unlocking. But that is £8 approx (may be negotiable)

I bought a DKU-5 in anticipation of doing this - it has arrived, badged DKU-5 but has only 6 pins (and therefore looks suspiciously like a DKU-3 if the number of pins is the difference!). Will this do the job?
