Yes indeed, using the Dejan software mentioned/discussed in this thread. Just be sure to use the "backup" button before starting the rest of the procedure just in case something goes amiss ...

not by this software as it requires a testpoint unlock which requires the phone to be taken apart

Hi, I bought a DKU-5 cable from ebay a few months ago to unlock my nokia 6630, but the software still wudn't read the phone. It only has 6 pins, not the full set, and i have gathered from some previous posts on this thread that i need the full set, maybe not for all phones, but for the 6630 at least. Does anyone know of a seller on ebay who is guaranteed to sell me a full pin DKu-5 cable?

    Thanks in advance

I have been trying to unlock a nokia n70. I went into device manager and the the com port is 11. Shouldn't it be 1-9? When i try to install the bb5 it says 'unable to open com'.

    Any ideas?

did you alter the notepad file that has the com port written in?

when you extract all the files from the rar file, theres a notepad one which you can double click, type in the comm port and save it again. should then work.
  • I have unlocked a few phones with this software and have the correct cable. Today I came to do a n70 and when plugging the cable in the computer it makes the noise but nothing else happens and it wont open as it says wrong com port although I have specified the right one. Seems like its almost not recognsing it

    Any ideas whats wrong?

i had this issue until i changed cable and downloaded some 3rd party drivers. log onto a website called esato.com and there are loads of guides there to help you unlock the phone of the gsmforums.com - something like that.

you must use the right drivers though, i found it didn't like nokia official ones?????
