Hi i tried to unlock my N70 with the soft but failed. when i click on Read, it showing error msg'bad connection (cable error, phone off/on, soft restart)'. i tried by restarting phone & software, but failed. I used the cable what was supplied with the phone. i am not sure it is the right cable. could you please tell me whats the right cable to unlock Nokia N70 & where i can get that 1. thx

Is it possible to unlock a nokia 6300 which is currently locked to the orange network its just i am going to France and want to use a local French sim card .

amizaki - you need a DKU5 cable not the DKU2 that comes with the phone.

hillendale - 6300 is a hardware/testpoint unlock requiring dismantling am afraid.

Anyone want to lend me their DUK5 cable, tried the cable that came with the phone without luck!

Saeed - amazed you can/could afford the handset but not a couple of quid more to buy the cable, especially since it'll cost about the same for you to pay someone to post you theirs and then pay again to return it to them as it would to just buy one off eBay or similar

I got the phone free. It's MSE to recycle.

Actually becuase RM are so generous, you can post upto 100g for only 26p! Cheaper than ebay me thinks:D
