Hi Everyone,

@bxboards - Thanks for your feedback. What we wont be doing is running for the hills after some negative feedback. We have received feedback in the past that suggests the current page isn't suitable for them, although it shows a good overview it didn't help members with specific transaction issues. We wanted to make this similar, in addition to make all the information visible on a mobile site which is currently wasn't. There are some things that we will go away and think about and the number of pages even after filtering is one of these.

@steve1500, @Moi and @veryintrigued - Thanks for all of your feedback so far. It has been interesting to see what people like, what they don't, how they believe it can be improved and we will be looking at all of this.

@apga - If you drop me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk that would be great as I would like to look at your totals.

@Huskyrunner - The Payout issue is now resolved :)

I hope this helps everyone and they have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes,
Matt

Topcashback has become horrendous just lately - here are just a few examples:

Currys £799 purchase - click and collect. Followed procedures exactly. Sent copy of receipt to TCB, but still declined 'because it cannot be traced'. - It tracked, and I have the receipt - how can it not be traced?

National Lottery: £10 cashback expected - disappeared from account since update.

Alamo - £400 purchase - did not track. 3 weeks later TCB still say 'waiting to send to merchant'

Talkmobile £40 cashback expected - Tracked ok, then suddenly declined without explanation.

I used to really like TCB, and recommended it to loads of people, but not any more. It is becoming a complete waste of time and a hell of a lot of hassle.

Since you are making alterations to your website, may I make a small suggestion.

The ability to split your pay out. By that I mean if you have received £60 from a merchant, & assuming there are no restrictions on the pay out method, you could say take £30 in Avios & £30 via Amazon
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

Hi Everyone,

@JPears - Do you mind emailing me at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can see the reason for the decline? It's not always merchants who declines cashback but I may be able to help you reduce the situation occurring in the future by looking at the reasons.

There is no point, I have already been through the customer care system numerous occasion and wasted far too much of my time over claims. I don't really blame TCB, its the companies involved and lack of complaints or comeback mechanism available to the consumer. There ought to be a much better review system of the company and its relationship to the consumer and TCB (like ebay)
TCB should then refuse to deal with these companies who frequently abuse the consumer. Currys/PC World being one of the worst, IMHO.

Hi everyone,

@bb999 - Do you mind dropping me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk? I'll be able to take a proper look at your transactions and give you some more information on this.

@steve1500 - This is certainly something we have considered. The issue with this is how the system would work and how it could split a transaction up and confuse things in the long run. I will certainly raise your suggestion however :)

@JPears - I do understand that and I wont promise I can change the decisions, I was just hoping there may be a common theme we can try and avoid going forward.

Best wishes,
Matt

Hi

Posting this here because I can't find anyway of getting through the Topcashback website.

In March I booked two separate hotel stays with Priceline for accomodation in June. I paid for the accomodation on arrival at the hotel in both instances. Having returned from holiday and checking my Topcashback account I can see that the two bookings are shown as payable at £0.00. I would like to submit a missing cashback claim for both but as it is over 100 days since booking I cannot do this on the website. I then tried to raise a support ticket. Unfortunately I was thwarted again as it just takes me to a page with error code 1179084088. After searching the site I can find no other way of getting in touch hence this posting. Surely the site ought to have an email address to allow people to contact them in circumstances like this. Any help on what to do next would be appreciated.

• Hi

I am asking if Topcashback can please tell us what is going on with the £157.50 Co-op deal that was on offer during 4th Jan-6th Jan 2016. This offer was quickly withdrawn and reduced after a lot of interest, though Topcashback confirmed that the offer would be honoured and stated that Co-op also confirmed that the offer would be honoured with the original T&C's which was that it just had to be funded with £800 (no switch required).

I have had a number of support tickets since April asking about confirmation period and the situation regarding this deal as no one that has taken this deal has had their cashback confirmed yet and payment would be due (if average payment) end of July. I'm just being told to let it progress as normal, but what is progress as normal?

I started another forum asking for people to confirm if they have had any movement for any Topcashback offers this year and had the response that accounts opened in April have had them confirmed in July, so surely ours should have been confirmed by now after 6 months!!!!

Don't worry , someone will be along soon from TopCashback to say they will look into it for you....they've been looking into one of my claims now for over 7 months...will be 8 months in about a week.

what was the name of the other forum?....sounds like I should be sharing my posts as well...lol
No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere
• Hi Mamabuddah

The thread I started was to do with Co-op accounts called Co-op Bank Accounts Topcashback https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5491808

It seems to be the only way to get feedback re confirmation/payment as Topcashback don't advertise STATS for Co-op except average payments for some reason so no one knows anything without asking!
