bristolleedsfan - While we appreciate other members helping each other out on this question and answer forum. I don't believe it is fair to make such strong accusations on the basis on comments made on a question and answer forum./QUOTE]
Just to clarify, I didnt make a accusation let alone a "strong accusation" I merely quoted an apparent part of :
http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/misrepresentation-act-1967
And asked TCB on a forum called "TCB questions and answers" a question relating to it and long standing posts on this forum by the same person regarding the same issue/problem, which I have often replied to/commented on , one of which I highlighted within the post.

If you have a question you'd like to ask cashback website Topcashback directly, post your question below and it will try to answer"0 -
How long from confirming transaction to payment take please.0

Hi Everyone,
@bristolleedsfan - Thanks for your clarification there. I can only re-emphasise here that we are simply here to allow members to earn commission that would have been earned by other companies if sites like ours were not around. The same processes are used and also the same rules. The contract will always be directly with the merchant and there is no direct relation between the cashback on offer on our site and the contract you are going to purchase. This is reflected around the site in several areas. We keep our terms and conditions short and down to the point so members are able to browse through these and understand the process. We also put other bits of important info in the merchant terms on their page within our site. This is something we would strongly advise all members to read as not doing so could mean in them believing they are eligible for cashback when they are not.
@MABLE - It does vary from merchant to merchant. Some are very quick but there are others who have a validation period of a couple of months, for example contract and insurance transactions. The best way to get an idea about this is by looking at your estimated payable date which you can access by clicking on 'account' , and then 'earnings' followed by 'cashback by date'
I do hope this helps you both and you have an enjoyable weekend.
Best wishes,

I did this for a friend on my account on the 29 March and just showed pending until about June 26th. However I put in a claim via your customer services and they chased up for me and about two weeks later it changed from Pending to Confirmed. I assume as they have now changed the status it will now lead to a payment even though it was for a friend of mine. She does not have an account and we agreed to share the cash back.0 -

confirmed does not necessarily mean you'll get what was promised or even that it will become "payable" I've had a confirmed transaction but not for the full amount...they are chasing it (allegedly) but here we are 7 months later and still not sorted. No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

This is with N Power. However I did one for myself with Argos Pet Insurance two days ago and still no record to it being tracked. However have not paid anything yet and am in a 14 day cooling off period so may cancel next week.0 -
TCB Rep, hope you can help with my issue. I have been waiting 6 months for the cashback from Co-op car insurance to become payable. Logged on today to submit a ticket only to be told that I now need to wait a further 4 weeks before I can submit a ticket to query the delay.
Really I need to wait 7 months after before I can chase it?!0 -
Hi TCB Rep,
I am having trouble logging into your website (from PC and iPad). I've tried to reset using the link but no email received (tried several times on both), and also checked junk folder in email, still no joy.
I have sent a contact form via your website - still no reply.
Can you reset my password and either email it to me or PM me on here?
My username on TCB site is PatHoltz.
Many thanks.0 -
Hi TCP Rep,
Hope to have more luck here, I am chasing up a claim of £75 for cashback for signing up with Nationwide Flex Plus account of which I signed up In December 2015.
I logged a missing cashback claim in January and have been waiting ever since with pretty much the same reply back telling me to wait. It does not currently appear anywhere on my earnings but I have got in touch with Nationwide who sent me the below message.
We validated your claim with TopCashback on 24th March, and it should be showing as pending on your account now. You may need to go into the Customer Care section to accept the payment though, as I have had to do this for a payment from them, even though it was offered at 100% of the claim - you sometimes still need to accept the "settlement" figure.
If this is not showing, then please update your claim with TopCashback - as we did send them confirmation on 24th March.
I have sent nudges and asked every few months but still have had zero luck with it now moving into the 7th month. Nationwide say this is confirmed so I really dont get what the hold up is.
My username on the website is cashyback
Would appreciate any additional information you could get for me in regards to this.
Many Thanks,0 -
Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.
@MABLE - Don't worry that your friend used your account to click through and make the purchase as this is certainly allowed and as this is confirmed there is no reason to believe that this wont be paid in the coming weeks
@Tiggy Wiggy - As a general note we do ask members to allow 4-6 weeks after their estimate and this is just down to the nature of estimates and averages. We do normally find that transactions progress within this period of time. If it doesn't however, you are more than welcome to send in an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk
@PatHoltz - Do you mind sending me a message to mse@topcasback.co.uk? Please confirm two transactions in your account and I will then be able to provide you with a password reset link.
@Alsey88 - I have asked the Claims Team to provide you an update on your Claims Thread about this. Please can you allow them a couple of days to reply to you there?
I hope this helps everyone.
Best wishes,
