It's likely to be an issue with your browser blocking cookies and tracking. Particularly if you use Apple devices. A recent update to your computer or phone could've potentially change this without you realising. Do other services track or is it just eBay?

    Some have tracked, some haven't.

    Always through Firefox.

I have an ad blocker which SOME times says it's blocked a pop up but not always. It doesn't say anything about blocking for ebay and whenever it has said anything about blocking a site I'm trying to do via TCB, I always click proceed.

But for any reply of - we'll it must be that then, like I said, it doesn't say anything about blocking ebay. That goes through just fine.

The Firefox ad-blocker has a setting where you can whitelist sites you want to accept cookies & tracking from.  I allow cashback sites and the retailers I use.

Can't see anything about this in TC's FAQs. Went through all the Questions to get a home insurance quote and got to payment only to discover a) can only pay by DD and b) monthly payment is no dearer than paying annually.

    Hi all

I am starting to have a few weird issues recently with TCB.

Firstly, whilst no a pro of course I am fully aware of the way to ensure transactions get tracked. I use a separate browser from normal, ad blocker turned off etc. Most transactions track without issue. Have been using the site for many years.

Recently have had a few not track, which is a bit odd in itself but been able to submit claims. All good. Maybe they will payout, have had reasonable success with claims on TCB.

Recently, I have also had one transaction changed after it tracked. The cashback was one of their Mega Cashback offers, so much higher than normal (35%). The transaction initially tracked ok but a few days later was reduced to a random amount about a quarter of the original transaction. There is no reason at all for this, other than to reduce the cashback payable! This claim is currently ongoing... its with the retailer but I think it might have been changed by TCB. This has never happened before and I can only think this is because the cashback was a reasonable amount. Do TCB want to pocket most of the cash they will receive?

Also recently, I did a transaction on a day where there was another Mega Cashback offer for a different retailer than the one mentioned above. This time the transaction tracked but was immediately declined, I mean within minutes... I didn't even see it as only tracked, although of course it did track ok. How can this be? No-one could possibly have manually reviewed it that quickly. In any event it was a completely valid transaction, was not changed or cancelled and no code etc was used. It has not even been delivered yet! Really odd.

I can only think this is being auto declined due to the large cashback amount (25%). I am getting suspicious now... make me think they declined so they can keep all the cash from the retailer!!

Anyway, some very strange things happening at TCB, been great for years now there are issues starting to occur. Has anyone else has similar issues?

    Matt
