Thanks Claretsgirl, I know I'm still not out of the woods yet but it seems a lot more real now like we have a chance of things working out.
Do you have long to go until your scan now and are you still feeling nervous about things? I won't say don't worry as I'm not sure thats humanly possible but I have everything crossed for you x
Hugs to all x0 -
Thanks purcy. My scan is a week on Wednesday. I am still worried as I still have no symptoms at all, not even tiredness. I don't have any reason to think I'm pregnant, other than no periods of course, but I also don't have any reason to think I'm not.
When I explained this to the midwife last time she just said not to worry and double checked I'd done pregnancy test. Oddly enough she was the first person to ask this!
Fingers crossed all will be ok. I have to keep reminding myself to take my vitamins because I don't feel anything. I also have to remind myself not to drink the lovely bottle of Baileys on the shelf which my mum bought me as I 'will be able to drink it this year'. Little does she know. :-) X0 -
Hey ladies !
Well had my 12 week scan on friday, baby was beautiful and perfect. Saw him/her move around and do a little jig ! I guess i'll be moving over to the next thread now ! Wishing you all the best of luck, and a wonderful 2014 ! Pomme Xx0 -
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, we did - was nice to spend some time with both sides of the family, I was back at work on Friday too but it wasn't too bad as it was only for 1 day and next week will be broken up nicely with Wednesday off!
Congratulations to those ladies who have had successful scans and hugs to all those going through a hard time and those that have had bad news.
Welcome to the new posters!
Only 3 days to go until my scan, where I'll be 12+6, really looking forward to it, we're going to take DS with us to try and help him understand, even though he might be a bit young to fully understand!

Hi ladies, hoping I can join in this thread
I had a BFP on the Saturday before Christmas. I tested as I just hadn't felt right. Swollen tummy, breasts and chronic stomach cramps. Was supprised with the result as this baby although discussed hadn't been planned.
I was wondering if any of you ladies had also had stomach cramps? I visited the GP as they were so bad and I was concerned. She informed me that if there was no bleeding it was fine and was my body changing, booked my first midwife apt for the 10th jan. The GP puts me at about 6weeks.
I'm hoping everything will be ok, although my cramps are subsiding now just the thought of food and visiting the supermarket makes me queezy. Cooking Christmas dinner was the last thing on my mind.
Hope you are all well
Thanks for reading. No purchasing unnecessary toiletries

I would like to join too please!
I, like you gemguin, got a BFP on the Saturday before Xmas.
We were on a not trying, not preventing thing since July and to be honest I never expected it to happen a OH has had mumps in the past which affected his balls.
My appetite has gone very strange and a lot of food makes me feel queasy now so if I think of something I actually feel like eating I make sure I get it because I hate not eating properly! Dairy is the worst at the moment.
I've also been feeling mild cramps, a bit like trapped wind, but after reading your post that makes me feel better about it!
I haven't yet booked an appointment with my gp yet but I'm very excited and hope everything goes well :-)0 -
Congratulations cmace2
Don't get me started on wind! I'm so ashamed at the frequency.:eek:No purchasing unnecessary toiletries
