i never wake out of my sleep for a wee but that has happened lately too!
as much as we moan, deep down i know were are happy to put up with these silly wee things in the grand scheme of things!
does everyone on here take pregnacare? i cant swallow tabs so i crush mine. i only take it 2-3 times a week, and on the other days i try to take a 400mg folic acid with vit D.0 -

Hi, sorry arrived then disappeared!
I really don't want to offend anyone and I know there's some that have been trying to get pregnant for ages, but I'm just really struggling to get excited about this pregnancy.
My other 2 children were planned and I think this being a surprise has really knocked me. I also last time ended up in hospital 3 times with hyperemesis and then ended up on crutches from 21 weeks so I'm a bit worried about what the next few months have in store!
Just feeling really blah, needed a vent. I've booked a scan for next weekend to see if seeing this little bean will get me a bit more with it!0 -
I am staying with OH father this week in the Outer Hebrides.
I have started my aspirin and progesterone (not enjoying that much it's a vaginal suppository and lets just say what goes in comes out). The metronidazole I have to take for 5 days every 4 weeks and again it's a vaginal suppository- I think I am going to wait until I am home for that. Wish I had bought more pant- liners with me
I am getting some random cramps and a bit of a dragging feeling like I am going to come on, so really looking forward to my midwife appointment so I can beg for a scan.0 -

Yuk- I feel your pain-I was on Crinone Gel vaginally for 15 weeks recently, it's not nice0 -
Credit_crunch, I have just been taking the folic acid at the moment, but keep looking at others on the shelf at the supermarket. Is it recommended to take?
Beckyandjack, mine is also a surprise. I think it takes a while to sink in and with your previous experience it is bound to make you more anxious. Im sure that every pregnancy is different. Sorry I can't offer any real pearls of wisdom. Hope the scan will get us both in the positive swing of things.
I shall also look into the lactoulose
ThanksNo purchasing unnecessary toiletries

Thanks gem, am hoping it's just been a rubbish year and come 2014 it will all get better!
Any name, that all sounds ummmmmm lovely, think I need to stop moaning!0 -

Thanks
They recommend now you also take a vitamin d supplement throughout pregnancy. I am taking a supermarket own pregnancy multi vitamin- my midwife when I was pg the first time said it doesn't matter if it's not the branded one, as long as you're not taking more than one (ie one from tesco and one from asda) at the same time- I can't think why anyone would think to do that!
The reason for taking the special pregnancy one is that they don't have vitamin A in them0 -

I have to take it all until 26 weeks
Don't think there will be much rudies going on between now and then- it's not pleasant! On the plus side, I was expecting the progesterone to make me sick, but so far so good!0
