Thinking of you Robots if you're still reading, hope you are ok, hope to see you on the other thread soon.

Hi, Thanks, yes i'm still reading... i'm lurking because i really enjoyed being on this thread and appreciated all of your companionship, and am curious to see how you are all getting on :). I'm not great to be honest (multiple hospital trips in the last week, plus some new worries about the bean, but i'll keep that to the other board/s), but coming back here reminds me how exciting this all is and that cheers me up.

I hope you are feeling better Wangdoodle? Anxiety is perfectly normal, but if you feel overwhealmed for more than a few days in a row do mention it to someone. just talking can really help. and if it comes to it then you are aware of any significant changes and so is your midwife/doctor.

Hooray! Congrats Mrs Muffin what a lovely way to end the year!

Congrats on your scan plantpot its so reassuring to see that little blob and little heartbeat isn't it.

I've also told my boss with strict instructions to keep it to himself as I needed his support in case I had another mc. I work closely with a small team so keeping it secret is going to be tricky and I wouldn't be surprised if they guess before too long!

Oh boy the sickness is ramping up now, it seems to be in the evenings luckily and I'm hoping it stays that way. DH and I went to the cinema with some friends of ours (anchorman 2 is aaaaaamazing by the way) and we went to the one nearer to their house so a good half hour drive away. I was ok on the way there but on the way back I just managed to hold on until we got home and then I was so horrifically painfully sick it was awful. It really was the worst yet but I'm taking it as a good sign

    hugs to all x

All was well with the scan :), baby was being uncooperative though and for the most part was turned away from us! Also, the images weren't too clear with me being a fatty! I've been redated at 12+4 so the new due date is 11th July. Was lovely to see baby wiggling about!

Hope to see you all soon on the next thread!

congratulations on your good scan too MrsMuffin!
  • Hugs Robots sorry to hear you're having a worrying time. I really hope it all works out well for you.

Congrats on your happy scan news MrsMuffin and AquamarineMonkey, really pleased for you both. Just one week for us to wait now for ours.

Hi lizzie_b, good luck for your booking appointment. Mine was a bit underwhelming to be honest. The midwife went through my notes that is filled in beforehand. She weighed me and took my blood pressure, faxed off a form to book my scan and that was it. I was only there for about 10 minutes!
  • There's now a new thread due to the length of this one :)
