Congratulations and welcome ilovelondontown
Robots I feel exhausted prety much all the time - I work full time and commute 2 hours each way but if I didn't I'd be having an afternoon nap. I think the excessive tiredness is supposed to wear off after about 12 weeks.
pleased to hear your private scan went well becs
I'm still spotting on and off, but as it's brown I'm not worried as the little bean was fine when I had a scan in the EPU at 7 weeks, and I'm still feeling nauseous and needing to wee all the time!0 -
Sam in your bounty pack what brand were the muslins?
As I didn't get any but I did get a pack of 2 newborn hats (asda George make) so wondering if asda maybe just put in different things? Or were the Muslins not made by asda? X0 -
how do you get your bounty packs? I didn't get a voucher at my booking appointments. iv had the first Emma's diary one0

My midwife gave me the first one (which I think has similar stuff to Emma's diary from talking to someone on here - we don't get that here) and in that it has a voucher to get the second one.0

Muslins were Asda. Wonder if they change the items now and then. Think there are three in the packet but could be two. x3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Thank you all for the welcome ladies, very kind, you'll have to forgive me for not addressing you directly just yet, I need to get in to the swing of things here I think!... Although I have to say hi to WD! Didn't think I'd be here with you on the <12 week thread!
I'm only just coming into my 5 week so it's still incredibly early days. Already googling the hell out of all things pregnancy related, I don't really know where to start. I've been experiencing a hint of morning sickness and peeing like a champ, and have been experiencing very frequent period-type cramp, which I understand without bleeding is quite normal. Doesn't seem to help for peace of mind though, I have heart stopping moment every time I go to the loo....
Can anyone give me anywhere to "start" with this whole thing!?Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

The Preganology website is good for seeing what is going on with your body and what you might expect at your gestation.
I had cramp at the beginning, still feel a little sick and pee'd a lot so all sounds pretty normal although when you are going through it, it seems everything but lol.
Have you visted the Dr and told them yet - sometimes they refere you to a Midwife instead of you booking direct yourself. In our area you see the Midwife about 8-10 weeks and then you get a scan date in the post for the 12 week scan. (You wil have another at 20 weeks as well.)

Hi ladies, hope you all had good weekends. I had a bit of spotting on Saturday which is worrying, phoned the EPU this morning and they said it was too early to scan (I’m 6+5 so not entirely sure that’s true) and that I should do a pregnancy test at the end of the week to check things are still ok. It was only a tiny bit (sorry tmi but just a few times when I wiped) and was brown so I’m trying to stay positive. I feel a bit fobbed off though, I’m not even sure that a pregnancy test would show as negative at the end of the week if I had miscarried… Really hope I’m over reacting, feeling quite stressed by it all at the moment, symptoms are continuing, had long naps Saturday and Sunday afternoon and have been feeling pretty sick most of the time.0

I didn't get anything so useful in my second Bounty pack! I just got a hooded towel, the little sudocream and some laundry detergent! I felt it was a bit of a let down after the hype I'd heard from some people about what was in theirs************************************

Yeah I got those too & a dishwasher tablet which is actually handy as were currently running out! That's a shame you didn't get hats or Muslins though!0
