wangdoodle wrote: »Sorry you've had trouble sleeping Mrs_T_M, hope it improves soon. I seem to have the opposite problem, I could sleep for England, but I'm still always knackered. The nausea is kicking in a bit now. I don't think I'll actually be sick, I'm not much of a vomiter, but it's bad if I don't eat regularly.
Thanks. I've never slept through the night in my life due to my brain not allowing itself to go into deep sleep phase, so that's nothing new. I don't mind the naps!
I'm up eating a snack now, I ended up eating the banana I had taken upstairs at around 11! Having some cashews at the moment, but I'll have to find some other snack type food while we are out later today.
Also, just for the record, drunk husband from the Christmas work do thing = loads of snuggles in bed, but I only have about 1/4 of the bed, he smells of alcohol (and garlic again ), and occasionally tries to lay on top of me.... I love him dearly, but sometimes I just feel like saying "leave me alone and let me sleep!!!"
At least the bunnies are enjoying me being up and down all night. If I have to come downstairs, they get a treat! :rotfl:0 -

Hope the spotting settles down soon TM. X0

Just lurking to say my tiredness was mad but it has calmed down I am 16 weeks tomorrow. I have found still need more sleep than normal but its more about making sure I am not tempted by watching extra TV.
Our house still is a tad messy. I am still finding the juggle of work and cleaning/ managing finances/ doing things with my son. I think sometimes partners/ husbands can not appricate how rubbish you can feel. I have been ill for the last week and I have to say my partner has been brilliant (sickness bug and now toncillitous) but when I was tired at the beginning and sicky he was a bit like 'oh it can not be bad'.
I have a terrible cough with my bad throat and seem to be having a lot of discharge. I know I have always suffered with it since I became pregnant and have to use panty liners - always think it looks more on my knickers for some reason - might be worth using a panty liner if your still spotting Mrs_T_M but hopeful for you it will stop and its just you over doing it. Love all your snacking ideas too!
I have only just got my 2nd bounty pack as I needed to be near a superstore type ASDA as they have to have a pharmacy in them to have the packs. I love the muslins and towel - makes it real - apart from two other blankets which MIL brought around which are blue and white spotted and pink.
Back to lurking. xx3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

It's never enough to reach my knickers, just when I wipe. I'm not going to worry about it, and it seems to have calmed down mostly already anyway. I'm thinking about going upstairs and taking a nap, but I didn't get up until 9:30 today!
DH told his boss last night and he's super excited for us both. Made me quite happy to hear his reaction too.0 -
Oh its a tiny tiny bit then? I had it actually in my knickers. I got up at 10am but just led with the dogs I slept on the sofa last night so OH could get some sleep as my cough is like a bark lol.
So glad your boss is excited for you - not long until your scan is it!3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Hello all!
Sorry I've been a little awol. Been feeling horrendous - sickness awful and so tired that I've just been going straight to bed when getting in from work. I have been lurking and reading tho so congrats to all the new people and those that have had good scans
Finally got the date of my 12 week scan so added myself to the list, Glimmer - not only are we due date buddies but we are also now scan buddies!
So I'm 9 weeks today and we had a private reassurance scan this morning. It cost £50 which I think of as the money I'll save over Christmas and new year by not drinking lol :rotfl: It was worth every penny though. Got to see the little heartbeat and the midwife was really reassuring
She did comment that I had 2 fibroids which I had no idea about as had no symptoms but she said they aren't a cause for concern at the minute. I am going to listen to the midwife and definitely not google it!
Anyway - hope everyone else is well. I'm back off to lie on the sofa as I'm shattered!

Great news on your scan bex xx0

So glad your boss is excited for you - not long until your scan is it!
It's DH's boss, I don't work, but yeah, I'm glad he's excited too! Means DH doesn't need to fib to get off work to go with me to appointments now! :j
Scan is 10th December and we are going to visit DH's mum and dad the 14th and 15th to tell them! :eek:0 -
Catloverbex - I am 9 weeks today also, so.we really are bump buddies.
Haven't been round much as feeling really tired and sick :-(. Also had to call 999 on Monday for LO as he was struggling to breath so spent 7hrs in A&E early Monday morning and haven't caught up that sleep yet. very scary. Was croup and he is all ok now.
Lots of stretching pains and i am definitely showing more than with ds.
