TTC - Happy Birthday March is a great month to be born.

Kitten - Pleased that you're getting good care from the word go. I think my consultant care started at 12 weeks last time although I saw the same guy during my pregnancy that had dealt with DD's death. The man is a legend - and also TTC's consultant!! I hope I get someone as good this time.

I've felt awful today and I will quite happily carry on this way. I think the 12 week scan will be end of April provided we get that far. I think EPU said something about scan's at 8 and 10 weeks before that too. Suppose it depends what happens on Monday.

Does anyone have any plans for tomorrow?

Thanks Lily. He's going to see me on the NHS for my antenatal care which I'm really pleased about - hopefully this week will be the last appt I pay for.

Sounds like your hormones have kicked in which is good news.

Anyone got any tips for headaches, I can't seem to shake it?

I might change it at some point (not to that)- but now is not the time.

Happy St Paddy's Day - no Guiness for us (not that I like it anyway).

Hello - I'm stressing out atm as I've had some spotting. Ante natal aren't interested until 16 weeks and EPU is closed so I was told to come to A&E, where I'm now waiting for blood test results. Not quite sure what they're testing for but they took loads... No chance of a scan until I've been bleeding for a few days (& it's more likely I'm having a miscarriage I guess). I might have shrugged it off, but this is how my miscarriage started last year.

Hoping I'm making a fuss over nothing...

Hope everything is ok betty. I don't think the blood tests will help as when I mc, I had to keep going back for blood tests to make sure the hormone was out my system and to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. It took about 2 weeks from mc until the bloods were showing I was no longer pregnant. This time, I was spotting for 2 weeks, didn't actually realise I was pregnant, went to the dr thinking she would just refer me for a scan, as I think that is the only way they can tell, but she said it was nothing to worry about unless it got heavier. So assuming I'm still pregnant!

I know it's easy to say, but try not to stress, that won't do you any good. Hope they get some answers tonight to put your mind at ease xx
