Another here with a 6 month belly at 8 week :( It's so bad. I didn't start showing with DD1 til i was 6 months, then 3 months with DD2, I must have really let my tummy muscles go slack with this one :(

I'm going to be the size of a house by the time I give birth. I just cannot stop eating, and if I do, I feel really ill :( Anyone else feel like this?

Hi Just wondering if I've missed posts from ladies due September as I would have thought they'd have had 12 week scans by now? Are you still around ladies?

Im 13+4 so technically I should move over but I'm still lurking here :)

Thanks for the kind words ladies. Feeling very 'what will be will be' at the moment so hopefully this will last until Monday then atleast i'll know.

I didn't think I would be finding it so diffcult emotionally this early on. Might have to reconsider my plan for more children after this one....

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Xx

Well done for graduating Lucifers wench, I'll hopefully be joining you after my 12 week scan on Thursday.

I too have decided to decline the nuchal test but as I said in my booking appointment that I wanted it, I have been booked in for the scan, I'll just tell them at the time that I don't want it.

As I had another cheeky private scan last week (somebody stop me, I'm addicted!) I'm 99% sure all will be well, saw speck wriggling around (it's not a speck anymore but was on the first scan and the name's stuck) and the sonographer said everyting looked normal so I'm expecting nothing to be amiss next week. It actually looks like a baby now, and the fact that it was moving is making it seem a lot more real that there's a little person inside me.

I too have gone absolutely huge, I looked at my belly after lunch today and I don't know if it was bloat, fat or what but I actually looked about 7 months pregnant, good job i'm not keeping it a secret anymore as I think that would give it away big time!
  • I have developed a noticeable bump but it is my 5 pregnancy. Didnt show with my 3 though until well after 20 weeks. My uterus is just pushing my fat upwards and out :D

  • I went to the doc the day after I got my BFP, as I didn't know what happened re booking appointment etc, so that would've been about 4 or 5 weeks I think. If we go onto have anymore though, I wouldn't bother with doctor, I'd just make midwife appointment myself.

In my area, you go to the doctor and s/he sends a referral to the midwifery unit who contact you at about 10 weeks for a booking in appointment. You can't directly contact midwives to make appointments here.

I'd phone your doctor and ask what procedure is, saves wasting an appointment with the GP if you don't need one.
