neverdespairgirl - hope all is ok?

AquamarineMonkey - Its all so exciting. Was it a long journey for you?

Sophiasmum- are you going to buy some new gripped slippers? I have nearly done that on the stairs a few times.

Sunshine81 - good luck with your scan!

AFM - sat eating ready break. Haven't brushed my teeth for two days  so I have to do it today. It is getting worse instead of better. My gag reflux is bad.

    I am 11+6 today.....and 2 days 28 minutes to go until scan....

I was very lucky and got pregnant on my 2nd cycle. I didn't know whether I'd struggle or not this time as my health is not as good as it was when I got pg with DS1 and I'm 34 now. I was obsessed with TTC and knew exactly what point in my cycle I was at all times, and I was on the lists on the TTC thread so I think this has helped alot. Of course, I know this isn't the case for everyone, I'm just lucky I can ovulate naturally and OH has good swimmers.

Been having symptoms for over a week, tested 4 days before AF was due but got a BFN, then ran out of HPTs so had to wait for some to arrive, which was 1 day after AF was due, that's when I got the TLP.

I'm so happy it's happened so quickly as we wanted a 3 year gap between DS1 and a sibling, and it will be just over 3 years so that's perfect.

I'm so excited that I've told my mum already and we'll be telling OH's mum as soon as we see her which will probably be next weekend.

Got mild morning sickness already (although it's 24 hours not just in the morning lol) but it's more reassuring than annoying. Suffered terribly with morning sickness with DS1 but not this early on!

    xx

  • got my first midwife appointment through today :) it's made me a bit more excited and positive, not sure why. it's on the 15th and I'll be 9 weeks :)

also found something which is good for my morning sickness which is lightly salted tortillas from tesco. I know they're not good for you but when you're starving and everything else makes you feel queasy...ahh they're a godsend!

Well done mrs t-m ! Do I spot a few blue things? Are we thinking boy?! Lol.

I'm secretly hoping for a boy, but I'll be happy with just a baby regardless! The lady who sold/gave me all of the stuff had two gorgeous little boys, which is why most of the stuff is blue. I don't mind, even after all of the scans and such, I was 'supposed' to be a boy, so when I popped out and they said 'It's a girl!' my dad and mom both nearly passed out. :rotfl: Needless to say, I wore lots of blue when I was tiny.

The TTC threads are great. I was on there early in the year fell in May and lost my angel baby end of July but fell early September in my first cycle all the ladies were so kind.

Hardly anyone knows. Hopefully on Monday I will be able to tell.

Fireyfirenze - my diet is revolting. Ha ha.

Ouch Sophiasmum! Hope you're okay and so glad for your scan.

Thinking of you neverdespairgirl, I hope all the news was good at your scan.

Welcome Robots (great username) and Aquamarine! Wishing you happy and healthy pregnancies.

Mrs TM what a lot of great stuff, well done you. I'm too superstitious to buy anything yet, but I'm so looking forward to.

Sam, I'm so excited for your scan, and looking forward to you being able to breathe a big sigh of relief.

Finding ways to manage the nausea a bit better. Time for me to do some Uni work since I feel human again.

    Hugs xx
