Phoenix7 - I am so sorry to hear that. I do know how you feel as I have had 2 miscarriages. I'm not going to say anything patronising about how you'll feel but do get yourself checked out just to be on the safe side xx

I would contact the Midwife soon just to talk it through with her. Put your mind at rest. Shouldn't of rushed you out its a bit mean telling you that then rushing you out.

Yes I already have a scan at the local Early Pregnancy Unit booked for Monday afternoon, following my supposed 12 week scan last Friday, where they couldn't find anything. It was originally supposed to be this morning but we've been at a wedding so I rescheduled for Monday. I'll give them a ring tomorrow as the midwife said to let them know if I started bleeding in the meantime.

We told my parents this evening. My dad was super excited (first grandchild) but my mum was cautiously excited as I guess she is worried for us as it's such early days.

Been having twinges today....Dr google seems to suggest its normal but I still can't help worrying They're on my left lower side, come and go and are not what I would call severe pain but are a little painful on occasion.

Registered at a new doctors today as mine old practice was a bit far away. They've also passed my details to the midwife who apparently will call me to arrange booking in appointment at 8 weeks.

Catlover bex - when I was aprox 5-6 weeks I wrote a similar post to yourself and I called them twinges on one side. Didn't like it! But must be perfectly normal x
