Hello everyone!
Just on the maternity pay thing - I work for the NHS also, I think mine is 8 weeks full pay, about 18 weeks half pay plus SMP then 13 weeks at basic SMP? And that's at it's best (i.e worked for the trust for over 12 months). I hope it doesn't vary from trust to trust, it's a National health service! That said, a physical health nurse came to visit today and she said she gets 6 months full pay????
On a work note, am shattered today. I'm on a ward where there's not even that much to do, but I've been asleep by 8:30 every night! Oh... and does anyone have any advice for sore boobs? As I'm climbing the walls in pain...
Early scan tomorrow, will be 7+5, !!!!ping myself, will stop holding my breath once I know everything is OK....
Congrats Robotsindisguise! I'm on an alias too, it's a shame really isn't it that we have to use them because people have big mouths ha x wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x
Oh God Sophiasmum... hope you are OK.. rest is the only thing you should do for a bit now!
Ah marywooyeah I would be hacked off too! But glad you got to see the little one x0 -

Hi guys,
I haven't been on for a while so apologies.
We had our dating scan today and we are 11w+3 so our updated due date is 20th May 2014.
I love having scans!!! Brought a little tear to my eye.
Only worrying thing is that apparently I have a septated cyst on my right ovary which is 4cmx4cmx5.4cm but I can't seem to find much online about it. The lady said that they'd check it on my next scan as it should shrink so fingers crossed!
Good luck for all of you that are due to have your 1st scan soon!0 -

Congrats, I am sure cysts sometimes just go down, not 100% though. I had one a couple of years ago but it has gone now.
There seems to be a bit on google. I imagine you will be monitored if you have a cyst. Did you have any sign it was there - painful ovulation or irregular periods?

Nope nothing and never had anything with my other pregnancies so we will see.
I can see a lot for normal cysts and quite a bit for septated but not much for septated when pregnant other than other people asking questions/stories rather than official IYKWIM.0 -
Hi ladies,
Well I started bleeding today so looks like this is definitely over. I'm going to bow out of this thread now. I truly wish you all the best with your pregnancies and good luck with your births.
Lots of love,
Phoenix xx0 -
Yes sorry I have just found bits on when not pregnant. If it has to be removed I think they could do it as your ovary is not in use while pregnant once the egg has been released? I am not sure - did you ask what it all meant in the scan - is it on your notes? xx3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
