Hope everyone is OK, been lurking but not posting the last few days.

Took annual leave from work last week, and was getting worried as I didn't have that many 'symptoms', this week I just wish they would go away! For me the worst is sore breasts, painful-as in feeling like they are being sliced slowly and regularly with a serrated knife and I am about to be sick-breasts. It's had me in tears twice today at work. It's not cold related either, as the other day it happened while I was tucked up all nice and warm in bed.

The other is just the tiredness! Again I thought it had gone last week but that's because I didn't do much.. I worked 7-3 yesterday and was asleep by 7:30pm, and today I worked 7-7 and can't see me lasting much longer! Doesn't this baby understand how much uni work I have to do!!!

7+1 today... going for an early scan this Saturday my neurotic thinking took over and we brought it forward a week x

My secret alias don't worry about what other people think. Surely if they're living with you they must hear you being sick all the time?!

Only you know what you can handle. Last year I had 2 days off then I went back to work & threw up a bit in the toilets & went home early sometimes but struggled on.

This time I was so ill I couldn't go in the kitchen in my own house for 3 weeks & was vomiting so much liquid it was scary considering I was barely drinking anything as it would just come back up. I'd fall asleep for 3 hour periods in the day, barely had the strength to get dressed some days, so I didn't. Just going upstairs to the loo or bed used all my energy. So I had 4 weeks hol anyway but still had to take another 2 off ill after that. Plus the cyclizine would knock me out and you can't drive whilst taking it and if I didn't take it I would have got really ill so I couldn't be at work and take it anyway as I need to drive to get there!

And I definitely find if I'm tired the sickness is worse.

Remember you are growing a person, if you need a break take it, and like wise if you want to go into work them do it. But not for your in laws!

Thanks for the welcome and advice everyone!
I guess I should feel lucky that my symptoms have gone a bit considering how much some of you are suffering but having still not seen a baby or heard a heartbeat it's difficult to not worry! I'll just be patient though!

As for the other half and appointments, mine is insisting in coming to everything but I guess he's lucky that work can be flexible.

    I'm still here. :)

GP said that everything seems to have sorted itself, but I'm still trying to take it easy. I also had morning sickness from hell yesterday! I woke up at 6:30 and had a biscuit, then fell back asleep this morning until 8 when DH got out of bed. It didn't completely make the nausea go away, but at least I can eat this morning, so it's a huge improvement. I am going to call the charity shop and tell them what happened and that I think I still need to rest today instead of working for 3 hours. I hate it too, I really enjoy going up there and working! Oh well, maybe I can make up for it later. :)

I plan on being as lazy as possible (bar hanging the laundry out back) and dragging a kitchen chair outside and sitting in the sunshine for as long as I can stand it.

I was given/sent two full sized tubs of the bold 2 in 1 goo packets for a survey, so today is the first time we are trying them. They are the lavender ones and smell oh so good! I just hope I'm not allergic to them...
