Phoenix - sorry to hear that your wait is so long. How are you doing?
So glad you had a positive appointment at the Drs Mrs TM.
I think the morning sickness has kicked in for me. I just feel really hungover all the time. Not fair when I haven't been boozing! I've also got quite a bad tummy upset, but I have IBS-D so I guess it's just that. I had it quite bad last time.
Trying not to worry every day but failing a littleI wish time would go a bit faster!

Mrs_T_M - I am really glad things are looking much better although I am sorry the morning all day sickness is stopping you from eating. Although I bet feeling the sickness is something of a relief.
Lara44 - I'm sorry you are feeling so rubbishy. It certainly is very unfair to be feeling hungover without having the great night out before.
Today I am having another domestic day. We go away for a week on Friday and so need to do some mass washing, drying and ironing so I can put the clothes that I and DH will be taking with us to one side.
Plus I plan on making some chunky veggie soup for lunch. Yum Yum! Although that will be right after I try to dodge rain drops whilst trying to walk a dog that hates walking in the rain.
11+1 today!!0 -
Hi all, been away for the weekend and trying not to spend so much time on the internet, but can't believe how much has happened here.
Mrs TM - sounds like you have been through an incredibly stressful few days but fingers crossed that all is well and you get an early scan to confirm that soon.
Gopppers - i am so so sorry, that must be devastating. Hope you can take some time off with people you love for a bit to recover.
Phoenix7 - i am keeping everything crossed for you and hope you are not having too awful a week waiting. hope OH is looking after you.
Welcome neverdespairgirl - hope you are not feeling too ill.
Afm, nothing new to report. still don't really feel preggers, but have been super tired and a bit nauseous most of the weekend. thinking i am going to tell my boss today as need a bit of slack at work x.0 -
Ahh thanks for the kind words ladies. I'm ok. I'm at work today, and have plenty to do so am just keeping myself busy really. I had a little cry earlier as I told a couple of the ladies on my team what was going on, just so they knew in case I was a bit distracted or whatever and also because I'll need to take the afternoon off next Monday for the scan and they were lovely. I'm fine most of the time, or when talking about what's going on via typing etc, but saying it out loud made me tear up. Still no signs of anything like bleeding or whatever so am pretty clueless as to what to expect on Monday!
Hugs to those feeling tired and sicky and generally rubbish, hope you feel better as the day goes on.
Mrs_T_M my hair didn't really change much until my third tri last time. I was really looking forward to it as I have rubbish fine hair that falls out all the time, but I didn't shed a single hair for at least three months! But then it all came out in handfuls a few weeks or so post partum! It was nice while it lasted, sigh...0 -
So sorry to hear of some sad updates
Gopppers - Hope you are getting the support you need
Phoenix - have fingers crossed for better news when you get your next scan.
Mrs TM - hopefully all is well, fingers crossed!
Thank you for the birthday wishes, I probably could have done without the very busy weekend as I am feeling pretty horrible at the moment.
The stomach cramps have lessened which is nice, but my body seems to be rotating between constipation and diarrhoea (sorry TMI!). Am also in a vicious hunger/nausea cycle - am eating every 2 hours or so, as soon as I get even slightly hungry I feel so so sick. Been waking up a couple of times in the night needing to use the loo, then realising I am hungry/sick so eating ginger biscuits at 3am quite regularly!
Currently living on carbs! Cereal, rivita, breadsticks, ginger biscuits, gingerbeer and biscuits are all my friends!
Have my booking appointment on Wednesday, think I am somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks! Do OH's tend to go to the booking appointment too?!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Oh, the gp also said that I have a possible case of thrush. I've never had it before, so I'm sitting here looking at the medicine going "that's supposed to go WHERE?!"
I've never had thrush <crossed fingers> hope it gets sorted soon. Pregnancy and being on the pill are the two biggest causes, I think? My Mama went to see her GP when about 7 months pregnant with her third, and he hadn't so much as looked up when she said she had thrush. He asked if she was on the pill, and when she laughed, looked up, and saw a third-pregnancy-out-there-bump, and blushed (-:moonbabe58 wrote: »

No reason he shouldn't, I reckon, but mine didn't come with me last time, and the other women were on their own. It's not terribly exciting - weighing, measuring your height, discussing blood tests - so he wouldn't miss much. More important for the scans, I reckon?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I just can't really eat - the last few weeks, I've eaten loads of raw carrots, raw peppers, apples, melon, strawberries, and that's about it. I'm half a stone down from before I got pregnant, but fortunately, I can spare it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

delurking from 12-24months thread to say, as long as you know of any important medical history from your OH's side then there is no NEED for him to be there. My OH insisted and then moaned that it was a waste of time afterwards! :rotfl: men eh!! Ours was a home visit too, so a bit different!
They do mark on your notes whether you were "accompanied" or not to all your appointments, not sure why!Mini me due March 2014

Went back to sleep around 9:30, and ended up missing a package at 9:50! Oh well, they say that they will deliver again tomorrow, so I just need to stay awake until they do.
Right now I'm slowly eating a baked potato with a bit of chicken, salsa, and some shredded cheese. Really nice, still has some flavour, but bland enough to knock out the nausea (hopefully for a bit).0 -

I am worried that he will be a bit bored, but he is very excited by the whole thing and doesn't want to miss out on anything. Think I will warn him he will be bored but let him come anyway if he wants to!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0
