Goppers - Sorry very sorry for your loss. I hope you have lots of support.

Mrs T-M - Got my fingers crossed for some good news.

Phoenix - We don't know each other but was very sad to hear about your loss.

Sunshine - I know what it is like to not have any symptoms/not feel pregnant. I am now 26 +4 and have had no symptoms whatsoever except feeling the baby kick/move from about 20 weeks. Try to stay positive.

Oh goppers I am so sorry there's no hurt like it :(

Mrs t m I have everything crossed for you! And yes, your comment about the fly did make me laugh.

My employers found out about my pregnancy and have said that they won't pay for my course. I'm disappointed but I guess it was inevitable they would realize at some point.

Aww that sucks, how did they find out? I hope they don't make things difficult for you over the next few months.

I hope you ladies don't mind me lurking in here this week. With nothing happening in my body to indicate either way, I feel like I'm in a rubbish limbo. I don't feel ready to post in the miscarriage thread just yet, just in case, even though I realise the chance is so very small of it being good news. I have had to move my scan from Friday to Monday the 4th, as my SIL is getting married on Friday afternoon. I completely didn't register the clash when they were talking to me yesterday but OH pointed it out as we drove home. And there's no way I could do both those things on the same day!

    Really sorry mrs_t_m x

As for me, well, more bad news. Private scan showing 7 weeks 4 days when I should be 9 weeks. No heartbeat... I'm beside myself :(

    :( so sorry Gopppers :(

  • Mrs_t_m my fingers are crossed for you x

Marywooyeah - I am pretty sure they cannot discriminate or deny you anything on the basis of you being pregnant - if I were you I would fight tooth and nail and make it very clear that they are treading very thin legal ground denying you something because they've found out you're pregnant.

Yes unless it's some kind of voluntary course they offered to pay for its illegal to treat you any differently Mary woo & I'd be pointing that out,

At least you can go on normal midwife apts now!
  • Samtoby I know how you feel - my boyfriend usually hates me looking online about anything because i tend to absorb everything that everyone else is going through and when others get bad luck I become convinced it will happen to me. This is even worse (being pregnant) because it's my first time and I am so paranoid about anything going wrong.

I feel so awful for everyone's who has had something go wrong I just don't know how I would cope if something went wrong for me :( hugs for everyone xxx
