So sorry to hear the sad news on this thread :grouphug: Will be thinking of you both.

ETA: mysecretalias, I also took cyclizine earlier in the pregnancy - at the end of the day you have to weigh up the medication's potential side effects with the potential problems from not being able to keep food or fluids down. They've been prescribed to pregnant ladies for a good number of years now, and are incredibly common during labour so the risks are low - but obviously it's your choice, hope you start to feel better soon :grouphug:
  • Hi all, I'm joining you lovely lot.

I'm due with my second child in the 3rd week of May. I'm now 35, and have one child, a son aged 8.

Looking on the bright side, I'm not being quite as sick this time round as I was when pregnant with Isaac. On the other hand, that's a bit like having a badly-sprained ankle and trying to remind yourself how much more it hurt when you broke your leg a few years ago.....

I had very nasty all-pregnancy-through sickness with Isaac, ending up on a drip several times, and on various drugs from about 20 weeks that reduced it from throwing up all day every day, to just feeling sick all the time and throwing up once or twice a day.

I can't really eat at the moment, and have already lost half a stone, but I'm not getting dehydrated!

I am really looking forward to the baby, but don't find being pregnant a barrel of laughs.
